Brave almost to the point of foolishness, Alanna takes after her mother Ilaria in looks and after her father Caradoc in temperament. While her boldness sometimes gets her into trouble, she always owns up to her mistakes and accepts the consequences of her actions without protest. She sticks up for others younger or less able to protect themselves without question, regardless of the outcome for herself. As a selfless dragon, she follows her father Caradoc’s teachings of knighthood easily.

Oddly enough, although Alanna takes after her noble father Caradoc, she finds herself closer to her other father Dior. Perhaps because they’re so different, they get along easily. Dior is always gentle with her missteps, understanding that they come from a good place. Likewise, Alanna has great respect for Dior and the trials he’s faced doing his duty as a seer looking after his clan. She has a good relationship with her mother, who encourages her adventures with the caveat that she keep herself out of too much trouble (knowing full well trouble would find her anyways).

After training under Caradoc for the majority of her adolescence, Alanna decided it was time to prove her worth as a knight and venture out into the world. With her parents’ blessing, she set out for adventure. With her battered sword at her side, she has yet to find a foe she couldn’t best with blade or with wit. Always prepared to defend herself or others, she prefers the occasions that matters can be settled peacefully over the times she has to fight. After all, a knight’s first duty is to protect, with their sword and claws as their last resort.
