your taloned claws skimmed against the moss, hooking into the short tendrils as you crossed it, taking in the alluring scents of the unfamiliar terrain. The new area was vast and dust-speckled , and a rocky abyss loomed in the distance , only just visible , as it appeared a snake - like line of darkness , alike the horizon before a storm. you hastened your pace , calloused under - feet clicking against the stones underfoot as you crossed the land , reaching the edge of the abyss , or what had seemed to twist it's appearence from afar , and was now clear to be a valley. a valley where adults and hatchlings , flights and species alike roamed together. a clan. ridge.
