The firstborn daughter of Asmira, Nymane was born on a moonless night. Her strangely gleaming plumage, inherited from her father, was nearly invisible in the blackness; until she chirped to her mother, her startled family thought that the hatchling had simply vanished into the night.

As she grew, Nymane's strangely shifting colors continued to provide her with natural camouflage. She uses her misty patterning to her advantage, often concealing herself in darkness where she will wait, motionless, until the perfect opportunity presents itself. A quiet dragon, she is a firm believer that actions speak louder than words. While she possesses the same lithe grace as the clan's other Skydancers, there is nonetheless something slightly off about her body langage and her intense, unblinking gaze often unnerves her clanmates.

She took up the study of Bone Magic at a young age, and quickly learned all the rudimentary skills that Moonflower was able to teach. Instead of turning to deeper magical study - for she is very quick to point out that necromancy doesn't interest her in the slightest - she instead adapted her magical talents to combat. Her fighting style is very different from that of her family members, focusing more on speed than power and relying heavily on spellcasting. However, her magic use is also much more martial than that of her family's patriarch. She prefers to strafe enemies with spells from a distance, then use her bolts as a distraction to close with the enemy and attack with her dangerous spell-tipped claws.

While some dragons, her own offspring among them, have called Nymane indiscriminate for the number of mates she has had, she cares little for their criticisms and in fact considers herself to be a choosy and discriminating partner indeed. Attracted to strength and cunning in its myriad forms, Nymane has had numerous dalliances but never has a dragon truly succeeded in winning her heart. Four of her daughters have stayed with the Suncircle Clan - Dante, Adamantine, Carina, and Damascus are all half-siblings with their own strengths, and Nymane takes a proprietary pride in their accomplishments.
