❧ INKLING

Inquisitive | Offbeat | Sensitive | Mischievous

Inkling was born in an allied Arcane clan but always wanted to know more about his extended family. He traveled to the Suncircle at a young age, and was embraced by the Cavern dragons as one of their own despite the fact that his mother had not continued in the family tradition of combat. Despite this easy acceptance, Inkling still felt a gripping need to prove himself, to ensure that no dragon ever thought of casting him aside or was kind to him simply because of his family.

As an adolescent, Inkling flitted from trade to trade but was never able to find a perfect fit. He was too candid for diplomacy, too distractable for craftwork or electrical engineering, and too mischievous for the science division. Concerned for his grandson, Orion took it upon himself to introduce Inkling to Dante, a Night Warrior in training. The two forged a strong friendship, and as they began spending more time together, Inkling warmed to the idea of entering combat training.

While he pursues a variety of miscellaneous tasks around the lair, helping out where extra hands are needed, his primary job is to serve as a Cavern guard. His small size and erratic fighting style make him more dangerous than he looks, and while he can be overly cautious against larger dragons, he is a vehement defender of his home and will protect it with any means he has at his disposal. His proclivity for pranks serves him well in this regard; Inkling has littered portions of the Cavern with magically-sensitive booby traps and foils designed to trip up foreign opponents, making them easy prey for the smaller Spiral. 		|
