Welcome to the Rising Clan!

All my dragons have or will have something written for them, including ones for trade.
I do commissions for writing dragon lores at about 6000T per dragon for a paragraph description, or 10000T for a description plus another paragraph or so of narrative. I also accept gems or can barter for other dragons, apparel, familiars, etc.
"Loyal" tab is generally not for sale, "Wanderer" tab is for auction or for sale to good home.

Looking for a dragon of each species in both male and female, here's what I'm missing:
Guardian Female
Pearlcatcher Male
Snapper Female
Skydancer Male
Bogsneak Male
Coatl Male
Wildclaw Female

All this info isn't accurate anymore since I upgraded my lair whoops.

Introduction draft:
You wander thro the Driftwood Drag, slogging against mud, avoiding roots and branches, and trying your best to read your vaguely-marked map. Flying was, as others claimed, a wasted effort, as illusion magic shielded the hideaway from those looking down. Finally, you make it to an entranceway of living swamp-weed and thorns. A tough looking green Wildclaw waves cheerily as he tends the barrier. You enter the gateway without even encountering a guard, which strikes you as odd due to this clan's illusiveness. Before you can ponder this further, a blue Fae followed by a yellow-winged Mirror approach. You remember someone saying that the blue Fae was the clan's leader.
"Hello there. You must be the guest I've been hearing about. Welcome to our clan. My name is Azure and this is my mate LemonWing."
The Fae spoke in a monotone voice, yet her eyes and frills were animated. The Mirror raises a clawed hand and lets out a hesitant "Hello..."
"Normally, Azalar would show you around, but he's... busy, at the moment."
From the shadows, a pair of red eyes stares at you. No mention is made of this as the blue Fae continues.
"So me and LemonWing will give you a personal tour. This shouldn't take long, follow me."
Your first impression of the lair is that there was no central theme, yet everything blended together exceptionally well. Ridgback made caves coexisted with a Fae tree, Skydancer nests, Mirror dens, Spiral holes, Tundra burrows, Pearlcatcher structures, and everything in between.
"This log here is the center of our clan, it's where we got our start, and nowadays it's where we make announcements, hold meetings, and vote on current issues."
You are directed to a large rotting log at the center of the swamp based clan. It's not particularly impressive, save for the eerily beautiful glowing fungi covering most of its surface. You go to touch it, and a small piece breaks off.
"...Moving on, these wonderful murals here were painted by our very own Torgar, that butterfly winged Ridgeback over there."
Colorful, impressionistic paintings cover parts of the barrier, rocky walls, and trees inside the lair. They remind you of waterfalls, flowers, and sunsets. From a cave, a black Ridgeback with distinctive purple wings blushes before disappearing back into the shadows.
"This is AshFall's forge, there's NightPanther's bakery, that pool is for our Maren ambassador..."
Azure pointed out various attractions, and soon you had a fair idea of the layout of the small, diverse clan. Save for the inner caves, which were strictly off limits.
"That's pretty much everything. Any questions?"
Before you can speak, the yellow winged mirror whispers something to his mate, whose eyes grow wide.
"It has been brought to my attention that we don't know exactly why you're here. And since you won't tell us, let me quickly go over the things you can do in this clan and the dragon's you'll need to interact with."
You're whisked away to a muddy, out of the way den, containing a large table on which was placed a variety of precious stones and treasure. A gilded Bogsneak carefully inspected each piece, not giving any attention to the approaching dragons.
"This is Jaanavar, talk to her if you want to buy, sell, or trade."
The cream based dragon looked up at the sound of her name, nodded in acknowledgement, then went back to work. Next was a large, cozy looking den filled with feathers, soft grasses, and toys. Hatchlings raced about, watched by a strong looking, crystalline Imperial.
"This is our nursery. We love all our hatchlings, but concede that we don't always have the resources or space to accommodate them all. If you would like to adopt one, talk to... whoever happens to be here at the time."
The Imperial growled, and the tour quickly moved on.
"Finally, this nest here is home to Drakashia, our resident lore-writer. Recently, other clans have been asking for her services."
You are lead to the base of a sturdy cedar, where a black and cyan Skydancer sits in a large, birdlike nest, typing feverishly into a typewriter. Azure flew up to her level.
"Drakashia, could you tell our guest here about your current rates?"
The Skydancer didn't respond, pausing only briefly as she continued to type. Azure returned to the ground in a huff, her expression annoyed.
"I'm sure her prices are listed somewhere."
You wait awkwardly for a few more moments, the air filled with the sound of typing, as well as other dragons' distant conversations, and various clanging, splashing, and screeches.
"Well that concludes our tour for real this time. If you wouldn't mind doing what you came here to do, me and LemonWing will be on our way."
Azure said, a hint of finality permeating thro her otherwise monotone voice. She and her mate slunk back into the thick of the small but bustling lair, leaving you to go about your business.

Lore draft:
While visits to the Shadowbinder's domain could be frightening, Lemonsnap's memories of the Driftwood Drag were tinted more with annoyances than with fear. Flight meant constant dodging of stinging branches, tangling vines, and low flying animals. Though the ground was worse, being bogged down my mud, running water, roots, and more vines. None of this was a dealbreaker for the experienced messenger, in fact the Nocturne was better equipped to handle this terrain than most. But it was slower than delivering a package in the Wind or Light Flights.
Lemonsnap had been circling the marked portion of the Twisted Woods for hours. Apparently, there was a flight here somewhere. Her package had no name, just rough coordinates, the initials NFB, and a hastily scratched on name. Azure.
Finally, Lemonsnap landed on a large, partially-rotted log, thinking that someone may have been playing a trick on her. While she was looking around, trying to collect her bearings, a blue frilled face suddenly dominated her vision.
"What are you doing here? If you want to start a clan, this land is already occupied."
Though the Fae's voice was monotone, Lemonsnap had dealt with them enough to recognize the shadow dragon's seething anger.
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to disturb you. I actually have a delivery for a clan in this area, if you could point me in the right direction..."
Lemonsnap rarely needed help navigating at this stage in her life, but was willing to concede defeat in this particular case.
"Who is it addressed to?"
The blue Fae asked.
"It just says 'NFB.'"
The Fae's frills lowered as she cocked her head, the small dragon clearly didn't recognize the anagram.
"It also has a name, it's addressed to 'Azure.'"
This caused the Fae's frills to open wide, but before she could speak, a louder, quivering voice shouted from under her,
"T-that's YOUR name!"
Lemonsnap looked around in confusion, as Azure sighed,
"You can come out LemonWing."
From inside the log, a Mirror dragon poked his head into the midday gloom. Like the Fae, his hide was also shades of blue, with more light than dark. Except of course, for his namesake wings, with were bright yellow.
"Your name is LemonWing? What a coincidence, my name is Lemonsnap!"
The Nocturne said, trying to be friendly.
"I-is that so? I'm sorry to hear that..."
The Mirror replied. Before Lemonsnap could unpack that statement, Azure spoke up,
"How do you have a package addressed to me? As you can tell, we don't exactly have a mailing address."
"I'm not sure myself. It came from an anonymous source in a Nature flight, a Venerable Lair of the Shrieking Wilds. Do you know someone there?"
The Fae shook her head,
"I've never even left the Driftwood Drag."
"I once went to the border of the Earth Flight...!"
LemonWing piped up, but was shot down by a glare from Azure.
"So, what's in the package?"
The blue Fae fluttered around the neatly wrapped package, eyeing it as if, if she concentrated hard enough, she could see through its outer shell. Lemonsnap paused briefly, the whole situation was so sketchy, it could be a trap. However, she had an obligation to deliver, and so she placed the package in front of its recipient. The Nocturne turned to leave, but Azure raised her voice,
"You can stay. If this is a trap, I'm blaming you."
The two dragons clearly had similar thoughts. Azure deftly untied the parcel, revealing a large pile of shining gold.
"Treasure?"
"T-there's so much...!"
"It's about... 50,000."
Lemonsnap figured this not with mental math, but because of the regulation note dictating the amount sent.
"That's so much! And someone just... gave us this gold?!"
LemonWing clearly wasn't used to receiving gifts. But the whole situation was strange, that stack of change was a hefty amount for a brand new, two dragon clan. Lemonsnap suspected this could be an illegal holding clan, but later struck the thought from her mind. The two were making far too big a deal of all this if that was the case.
"I suppose... someone wanted to give you a lair-warming present."
The Nocturne said after a pause. This would have been the time for her to go, but Lemonsnap found herself growing used to the murky woods, to the point where she didn't want to leave. Azure then spoke,
"Lemonsnap, wasn't it? If you're ever back at that Nature flight, could you try and find out who sent this? I'd hate to leave their gift unanswered."
"That's... sort of against policy, but I could ask around. I go to their flight fairly frequently."
In fact, the Nocturne was currently staying there, yet she was on the move so often she didn't really consider it home.
"Thank you."
The Fae closed her eyes and lowered her frills, a sign of sincerity.
"Also, ask if anyone wants to have a change of scenery. We proudly accept dragons of all breeds, patterns, colors, and backgrounds. And we have plenty of space."
The blue Fae added. This was all Lemonsnap needed,
"Well actually, I can think of one dragon who wouldn't mind the stars over her nest..."

A few weeks later, the Nocturne found that the makeshift den had grown into a space that could questionably be called a lair. Several unfamiliar faces dotted the shady grove, many with their own custom made den constructed with nearby materials. A gilded Bogsneak had a leaf strewn marshy bed, with a stone table ladened with precious stones nearby. A green Wildclaw made a more forested area his home, his tree filled space looking as if a part of his Nature heritage had followed him. Two star-hided dragons nearly blended in with the nighttime sky, the Spiral twisting around a tall, leafless tree and the Snapper waiting patiently at its roots. Most excitingly, a young yellow Spiral snaked about the group, often bounding up to LemonWing and his single egg, inquiring loudly on when it was to hatch.
"Um, soon, I think. We were told five days. It's been five days. By the great Shadowmom, did we do something wrong?!"
Before the Mirror could go into hysterics, the older Lemon quietly glided over to correct him.
"It takes six days. Five days to incubate, one day to hatch."
"Oh... Thank you..."
Before LemonWing could feel too relieved, an imposing dragon appeared in the hollow, a shimmering Imperial that towered above the others in the thrown together clan.
"I've been telling him not to worry. Our child is perfectly healthy, and will hatch when ready."
For a brief moment, Lemonsnap was confused. How did this new dragon talk without opening her mouth, and was she mated with LemonWing!? The unspoken question was answered when a dark blue Fae alighted on her mate's head. Azure spoke in the same monotone voice as always, but with just a hint more authority.
"Ah, Lemonsnap, you're back. Your den is right where you left it, I've made sure no one's disturbed it."
The leader of the fledgling clan made no mention of the battle hardened Imperial, who was currently slinking off to a nearby boulder that overlooked the glade. As the soon-to-be mother and father chatted, Lemonsnap decided to introduce herself to her new flightmates.

A few weeks after that, Azure looked down at her ever-expanding clan. It had grown to around two dozen members, all with various nests that were subtly blending into each other. A few Ridgebacks had joined, and had constructed stone tunnels in the more rocky terrain to the north. These tunnels blended nicely with the more traditional dirt and mud based dens that dotted the clan's starting point. On the surface there were miscellaneous other nests (typically constructed of leaves, for those who wanted to sleep under the stars), as well as a clearing where dragons could gather, chat, and eat. In the center of the clearing sat the large rotting log where she and her mate LemonWing had first met, it was now covered in glowing mushrooms and acted as a focal point on which she, or others, could address the clan. Azure was not on said log at the moment, she was looking down from a cedar tree she and the other Faes has burrowed into. Skystain, a star-scaled Spiral, sometimes slept in the tree's branches; which was annoying, but the tree was more than sturdy enough to handle the extra weight (As long as no other larger dragons got the same idea...) Surrounding the ever expanding lair was a protective ring of shrubs and brambles, started by JungleLight and maintained by DiamondScale, a Ridgeback born into the clan who had a natural affinity for agriculture. Azure was well aware the barrier offered little protection of an air-born attack, but hoped the illusion magic she and some others had put up would be enough to disorient those who flew by with ill intent.
When she and LemonWing first met scarcely a moon ago, the azure Fae had no idea her dream of starting a diverse clan would accelerate so quickly. Of course she was proud of her accomplishment (and those who stood by her: LemonWing and Lemonsnap, JungleLight and Jaanavar, and even that show-off Imperial Zephyr), but the rapid growth also gave Azure the feeling of unease. The most obvious explanation was that this reminded her of her birth-colony's fate of sudden collapse, the bulbous hive of Faes doomed by their own prolificness. But her clan wasn't going to be falling off a cliff anytime soon, and even the tree she was nesting in wasn't tall enough to cause lasting damage if it were to give way. The challenge the tiny dragon faced was a philosophical one, not a physical threat. She wanted a powerful, mixed species clan, but she wanted a small, underwhelming clan as well. She didn't say this to anyone for obvious reasons, but she saw her clan as a clan of underdragons, bravely facing off against the more affluent clans of the wider world. Her goals could be called conflicted, she wanted to be strong but small, weak but respected. And then there was the lingering question of that mysterious Nature clan, a clan who still occasionally gifted her growing clan with familiars, apparel, and other drifting dragons.
Azure shock her head to clear it, directing her attention back to her clan's mish mashed lair. By her own specifications, they were in a pretty good place at the moment, still a proud Lesser Lair of the Driftwood Drag. And even when they did get more dragons and inevitably had to expand, as long as she kept the spirit of the downtrodden in her heart, the clan would never falter!
Speaking of which, her clan still needed a name. The Fae thought back to the mysterious package, marked "NFB." She wondered if that was some sort of prophecy, or just a code for unnamed clans. Either way, it was an intriguing acronym...

More time passes, as one of Azure and LemonWing's second brood, DarkVapor, grows up and befriends an immigrated Skydancer named Drakashia. Weeks later, the Skydancer begins to exhibit some strange tendencies...
"Drakashia!" DarkVapor called out for her friend, flitting through the familiar gloom of the Driftwood Drag.
"Drakashia! Ashia! Darn it now I'm using your nickname, if you're listening don't tell EmberLeaf I said that."
The Fae continued calling, her normally quiet voice straining to raise to a level that would be carried across the swamp. DarkVapor wasn't used to this sudden role reversal, usually Drakashia was the one searching for her, as she would periodically leave the clan in order to swim in the area's murky water or write deep, edgy poetry.
The Fae braced herself for another shout, when she heard a faint scuffling sound. Her sensitive frills raised up, as the tiny dragon got a bit uneasy. Of course, they were in the Shadow Flight, strange noises were nothing unusual. And seeing how it was the only lead, DarkVapor decided to follow.
The scuffling evolved into a persistent scratching, as the Fae at last came to the source of the noise. It was a mass of black and blue feathers, busy writing, erasing, and rewriting on a well worn piece of parchment.
"Finally, I was looking all over, and... You've started writing? Trying to mimic me? Erm, there's nothing wrong with that..."
The Skydancer didn't even look up, as she continued to write with even more fervor. DarkVapor hovered next to her friend, unsure what to do.
"Um, so what are you writing, perhaps I can give you some tips?"
The Fae glanced at the parchment, choking back a gasp as she read its contents. Written on the long scroll, in scrawling yet legible prose, was the following:
'"Drakashia!" DarkVapor called out for her friend, flitting through the familiar gloom of the Driftwood Drag.
"Drakashia! Ashia! Darn it now I'm using your nickname, if you're listening don't tell EmberLeaf I said that.'..."
