Humans are a rarity in this world, so for one to drop out of the sky onto one poor fae dragon named Hornet is very much a surprise of the century. And the human, Zero or Alira as some dragons call her, doesn't have much of an explanation as to how she got here. But either way, she helped Hornet make her first lair to start a clan because she wanted to, and this attracted Brumm who ended up joining the clan himself.

Largely hidden from sight most of the time at first, Zero mainly remained in the shadows as Hornet took in stray dragons and the clan got bigger. Though when hatchlings started randomly showing up in the clan, Hornet became curious and soon found out Zero had been making trips out into the spires, mainly sticking to the one the lair was built into and rescuing hatchlings that were either left on the cliffs of the spire or catching them out of the turbulent winds, sometimes even making her way down to the shores of the spire and rescuing hatchlings who had ended up in the water.

However, with how interesting and outright inventive or unique most of the dragons coming into the clan were, something strange was bound to happen. When Theon was experimenting with some inventions of his while Zero and Petal were curiously watching him, one of the inventions overloaded and exploded, setting off a chain reaction of inventions blowing up which Zero and Petal were caught in the crossfire. It didn't help that the inventions were ones Theon charged with various magical powers and different magic from different territories and flights due to all the dragons from different regions being in the clan.

When the smoke cleared and Hornet was shouting for Petal and Zero, coughing answered her and found Zero in the small crater alone. But Zero was far from unscathed, or changed as it were. As now, she had Petal's purple wings sprouting from her back, her tail sticking out from under her shirt, and patches of feathers along with Petal's storm runes running down her arms and under her eyes on her cheeks.

Theon, for all his panicking, managed to figure out that somehow, Zero and Petal had merged so to speak, and when Zero in a fit of panic had turned into Petal in a clear dragon form transformation, it was clear that somehow not only did Zero gain Coatl traits and some of Petal's features, somehow Petal's form had become Zero's dragon form.

Zero, very much unsure of how to even process this, has now begun the slow process of adjusting to her altered form. Thankfully she can still understand normal speech and aside from being able to talk in the same chirps and squeaks of Coatl can speak normally.

She is now often seen going around freely in her dragon form around other dragons from other clans, but doesn't switch to her humanoid one unless she's solely around her clan, and is very unsure what she even is, now largely going by the name Alira after what happened.

Clan Kami
She is largely unaware her sister is even in this world, let alone running a clan in the Plauge's wandering contagion, though she is heavily considering moving her clan to either The Southern Icefield, The Sea of a Thousand Currents, or The Shifting Expanse due to how close the contagion is getting to the crystalspine reaches, her own clan's lair, in particular, is on the very edges of the territory and in the line of danger.

Other clans within Arcane territory
For the most part, Alira and her clanmates interact with other clans a fair bit, though Alira isn't present for most of these meetings due to nerves so she mostly leaves them to Hornet. In general though, her clan is on good terms with most.

GROUPS WITHIN THE CLAN

Defense and resource teams
Due to the dangers of living on the edge of Arcane territory, Arlia and Hornet have made teams of dragons in the clan to act as the first line of defense should they get invaded. A few of the teams are also ones sent to out keep an eye out for any approaching trouble and gather resources as well.

I spend a lot of my time writing fanfiction and just generally doing what I love to do. ^^ I'm generally a mild-mannered girl and I do my best be polite and treat others as they treat me.
