The Teallach Forge

The Teallach Forge is a small, family owned smithy located within the Great Forge, facing the Magma Sanctum. Founded by the Skydancer-turned-Coatl Mackay, the forge prides itself on its small but skilled collection of smiths, each with their own speciality. With Mackay getting on in years, he begrudgingly passed on most of his duties to his twin sons, Mackai and Macquarrie, who have started moving the forge from a strictly neutral selling stance to silently backing the growing rebellion to the west.

The smiths of The Teallach Forge hold one thing above all others: quality. Mackay learned his craft at the paws of masters, and he enforces that demanding eye on all of his apprentices, whether they've already atained their mastery or not! One can be assured that no matter what they commission, Mackay will only allow the best to touch Dathanos' mailbags.

The Smelter

The Smelter, an aptly named motly of miscreants and thugs under the iron rule of Eblis, a shapeshifting dragon most commonly seen in the form of a Fae.
Hidden away deep under the Great Forge, Eblis rules his over his underlings like a little king, taking no heed of the deity he resides alongside. All he cares about is gold, and doing whatever it takes to get his claws on more of it, consequences be damned! He cares for nothing and no one but himself, though he's very good at pretending otherwise.

The Teallach Ranch

A quaint little ranch located just past the Magma Sanctum, close enough to the Wind border to benefit from their lush fields, The Teallach Ranch supplies food and materials to both the Forge and the Observatory (and the Smelter, though they're unaware of that part) by rail. Officialy ran by Greame, shadow ran by Mackays grandhatchling Blasti, the Ranch is home to a group of outcasts and rejects who nonetheless found happiness together, farming away and being chased by evil goats. It's not much, but it's home.

The Teallach Observatory

The Teallach Observatory is a small offshoot of the Magma Sanctum whos scientific interest is pointed skyward. Its focus is centered on the effects of the sun and stars on the geothermal activity of the Great Forge, though most of its researchers have side projects too. The head scientist is Thebe, though really he shares the duties with his loving polycule, all of whom can be found passing about the headship mantle like a hot potato in favour of their own research.
