Vrykolakas' Clan

I wrote most of my lore when I was 15 I'll rewrite it some day I prommy

As you wander through the oppressive heat and smoke, you wonder why you ever agreed to run errands for your clan in the Ashfall Waste. Paws burning from the still-hot rock underneath your claws, you scan the horizon, hoping the Cinderslag is close by. A few ramshackle houses dot the land beside you, but it appears the hub of the town is still a ways away. You hang your head, resigned, until you notice a large building, made of metal but inviting nonetheless.

Hanging over the entrance, a wooden sign reads 'The Embear’s Den: General Store, Armory, and Restaurant.' While not exactly in the city, you figure that you’ll find whatever you’re looking for in here, and decide to stop in. A silver mirror posted outside looks at you warily as you enter, but lets you inside.

Cool air flows through the shop and you breathe a sigh of relief. Though paradoxically, a fireplace crackles on the right side of the shop, though that seems kind of unnecessary considering you're in the Fire domain. Elk pelts and other soft bedding surround the fireplace, and a few Hibernal Starbears and Magma Embears lazily enjoy the heat. Next to the fireplace, a large red guardian softly plays the lute, with a few curious dragons listening along, adding a nice touch to the place. The scent of cooked meat fills your nostrils and to the left you see a doorway, and peering through you see a long table, filled with simple meals, and the tables throughout that room are filled with metalworkers grabbing a meal after work.

Walking forwards, a large counter covers almost the entire back wall, covered with all sorts of items, each having a little tag with their price. Shelves cover the walls as well, holding even more items, from potions to ingredients to clothing. Large racks hold a wide variety of armor and weapons, a red and brown fae polishing them. Behind the counter is an opening, presumably leading to storage areas and living quarters.

Perched on top of the counter, a black and white spiral has been watching your movements since you entered, and before you can open your mouth for a greeting, she quickly cuts you off. "Hiya! My name's Maddie and I'll be your cashier for today! Normally I deliver messages but today was my turn to be the cashier, but it’s okay because I get to talk to all kinds of dragons all day! What can I get for you today?"

The Embear's Den is a shop located on the edge of Cinderslag, on the road from the Ancient Furnace. It sells all sorts of wares and services, from armor to potions to hired fighters. It also contains a restaurant for hungry forgers on their way back home looking for a meal and a drink, or a cafe for a weary traveler looking for a coffee and a baked good.

Allied closely with the Nathair Crypt in Dragonhome, they trade ores and gems. Frin and Venusaur are long-time friends. Frin helped Venusaur found her own clan, training Grapevine and Elari’s hatchlings as forgers and sending them over to the new clan. In addition, she had sent over two snappers staying temporarily in her clan, Aventurine and Malachite, as Frin felt they would fit better in that new clan.

While the shop trades mostly with the Fire flight, they do have some good trade relations with some other clans in other flights. They send quite a few supplies out to some clans in Arcane and Shadow, with each sending a dragon or two that were interested in joining the shop.

I buy to exalt, but if a dragon ends up in The Embear's Den with a familiar, they won't be exalted since I don't exalt permas.
