Bio - Saraaj crawled from his shell at the edge of winter, the last of his clutch to emerge; crimson eyes bulging and colorless scales mottled with sickly violet. He was an unnerving child from the second he hatched and his penchant for unsettling behaviour has carried into adulthood — too quiet, too prone to staring, too prone to suddenly appearing without explanation, too prone to divulging unpleasant prophecies; not strictly abnormal behaviour for his particular bloodline, to be certain, but to most other dragons. The Matriarch of the Molten Rose sponsored him to study among the halls of the Magma Sanctum in the Ashfall Wastes, though he spent more time predicting wars in the smoke than monitoring the ley energies of the station before eventually secluding himself into the depths of the Molten Rose's holdings as their exclusive sage. The position is dull for one of his talent, but it is one which has kept him safe from the intrigues and strife many of his close relatives fall prey to — allowed him the freedom to drift through life at his own quiescence-prone pace. Though he has taken two partners, he is outwardly disinterested in doing much with them beyond perching on their heads or shoulders in silence. It is only in the darkest recesses of moonless nights that their scheming occurs, whispered words and cloying incense filling the still air...
