______An outcast from her birth tribe, her name encompasses much of what she was before she found her mate. Soft and gentle, and very sad, the necklace she wears marks her as a former member of a rogue clan of bogsneaks who were known for their brutality. She was cast out after she refused to kill a passing traveller and her adopted brother now stalks her, determined to get his revenge for her perceived act of treachery against him and his soiled family name. ______As she was fleeing in the night, she saw a golden glow in the midst of the darkness and followed it for days, hoping that at the end of her chase she would find safety. She encountered Gold there- a shining goblin and a velvet floracat accompanied him, and they all bristled when they saw her. Her markings, which were carved into her skin by her birth tribe, alarmed him until she explained that she was an outcast. ______They travelled together and it wasn't long before Gold gifted her the floracat- they had bonded, and he felt like she would help protect her in times of need. She named her Rose. While she and her floracat bonded she also grew closer to Gold, and eventually they decided to become mates. She's still stalked by her brother, but each encounter leaves him with more scars and her with a bit more bravery. Since settling down in a clan they've been much safer, though Sanguinox still plots from the shadows, his hunger for vengeance never sated. |
