Deakkon's Clan

The Sandstone Scores clan is more of a loose and scattered conglomerate of dragons rather than one centrally located group, with the main hatchery and therefore habitation located in the Greatwyrm's Breach. Outposts exist in the Shattered Plain and Cairnestone's Rest in Earth territories, and there are dragons located in almost all of the remaining territories. The matriarch, Retilus, encourages travel, and her mates, Vyklas and Hlaija, encourage the pursuit of knowledge in all its shapes. (It's also easier to care for less dragons in a harsh place like the Dragonhome.)

Retilus will put down a dissenter with extreme violence but she much prefers to govern at a distance, while more capable dragons handle situations that don't requite claws and teeth. She believes that all dragons have a role to fulfill and she is wise enough to know that it isn't all blood and battles. Thieves, the sick, the disabled, the exiled all can find a place among her flock.
Bickering, in-fighting, and hoarding is not tolerated, though healthy competition is encouraged to diffuse stress. Belongings and lairs are shared freely, for the most part, though those that prefer their privacy are well respected. Young are raised communally and breeding isn't strictly regulated, except in times of extreme resource shortages.
