Melancholy has always been a quiet dragon who generally keeps to herself. No one knows where she came from or how she ended up in the Scarred Wastelands, but what they did know was she was a ferocious dragon who had no issue defending herself from the relentless environments of the Abiding Boneyard.

It isn't abnormal for Melancholy to disappear from the lair as she is known to wander the wastes alone but on rare occasions she drags her mate Typhoid along. These trips can range anywhere from a couple hours to many weeks and she does not tell anyone when she is leaving or where she is going. It is assumed that Melancholy is travelling the wastes as a challenge and a way to hone her combat skills but no one really knows for sure as she never returns with any resources or trophies.

In terms of her personality, Melancholy is not known for her kindness. On a good day she is moody at best to dragon and hatchling alike; she is even known to snap at her mate. Given how secretive and solitary Melancholy is, no one knows if there is a reason behind her attitude or whether its just how she is.
