The Wise Roch
A clan of history keepers, weavers and artisans

The Wise Roch is lead by the Nocturne Myrias and her mate Nydruhn the Pearlcatcher.

It is situated on a set of 3 flying islands, kept aflaot with both Windmagic and countless kites, balloons and a set of big 'wings'. They are arranged and shaped in a way that loosely resembles the silhouette of a bird, which is where the Clan got its name from: The Roc.

Living on these floating islands, the Clan does not have a set area they call home. They travel over the Windswept Plateau, their location everchanging like the wind.
It is not unheard of for them to leave Windsingers territory occasionally and pay other Flights a short visit to barter their fabrics and other crafts, and exchange stories with the locals.

The main den and mojority of guilds are located on the biggest island in the middle, called the Body. One can also find a big library there, which not only documents the history of the Clan and the Windswept Plateau, but also features specialized areas for all other Elemental Flights - Curated by dragons who are referred to as Flight History Keepers.

On the Tail, a smaller and more broad island, one will encounter the Wind Blessers. This group of dragons is responsible to teach newcomers and hatchlings about the culture and workings of the clan, as well as training Kites.

Kite is the name given to dragons who wish to serve the Windsinger. Training usually starts from a hatchling age, but older dragons are just as welcome to join.
To become a Kite, a dragon will go through 4 different classes:

History - to gain the knowledge to travel the lands safely
Flight Training - to maneuver and manipulate the winds to their favour
Kite-Building - constructing a kite to carry their words to the Windsinger
Basic Combat Training - to be able to defend themselves and others

Once a Kite has finished their training the Wise Roch will hold a ceremony on the Beak, a triangular island situated in front of the Body. It is referred to as Kite Festival.
Most Kites are send of in groups, but a Kite Festival will also be held for singular Kites, mostly dragons who decided to follow the Windsingers Call later in life.

The Beak functions as a runway for the Kites to launch off of. During the Kite Festival, it will be adorned with even more small windmills, kites and balloons. Songs are sung, poetry and stories are shared, wellwishes and goodbyes are said.
Dragons that are send off will be adorned with temporary paints, depicting swirls and clouds, and bestowed a blessing by the Breeze. Once the dragons are ready, all Kites will set off together, each carrying their selfcrafted kites.

While not required, it is common for groups to perform a small flight show before setting off in all directions. This is mostly seen in Kites that were in the same class during their Kite-Training.
