Welcome to Clan Goldscale!

LORE
Deep within the Foxfire bramble, hidden by the thorns and brush stands a lonely stone arch. The ground around it has been carefully pruned into a large clearing. The surrounding thorns skillfully woven into a high, domed ceiling from which dangle strings of feathers, bone and glowing trinkets. These strange garlands shift and sway in a seemingly endless breeze, occasionally producing a soft clinking.

The arch itself might have been indistinguishable from any other long forgotten ruin were it not for the strangely organic shape of the stone and it's bright pink hue. Stranger still are the faintly glowing runes etched across the surface of the crystal which pulse and glow with a faint pink light.

This strange ruin is the entrance to the lair of Clan Goldscale. Stalking the inky shadows of the perimeter are the clan's guards, Jenner and Reginald. They keep a weather eye on the gap in the thorns that leads into the clearing, and a sharp ear for the garlands above which will shake violently if trouble should enter.

Originally hailing from the Starfall Isles, the burning curiosity of its Arcane leader has brought the clan to the Tangled Wood. It is unknown at this point how long their expedition to the Shadow domain will last, but the members of the clan are all excited at the change in scenery and the prospect of learning new things.

Near the arch is a small pool of clean water and several artfully pruned fruit bearing trees. Beneath the boughs of the trees is a well used fire pit and a worn but sturdy looking table. Arranged upon the table are piles of food, tools and decorative objects that would seem to be for trade; yet no one appears to be tending the stall.

On closer inspection a note sits in a frame near the arranged food:

"Dear traveler, be welcome here and eat and drink your fill. If any of our clan's wares entice you simply speak to the guards and ask for Saturn or Rhea, they will gladly sort you out.

Previous Location
While living in the Leviathan Trench the dragons of Clan Goldscale attempted to forge new alliances, most of which fell through for one reason or another. Disheartened, Auren began contemplating their next move.

Current Location
After moving to the Foxfire Bramble the clan was reluctant to make their presence known. New additions to the lair have proved a challenge to Kyanite who has enlisted the help of Melvara and Ganzorig.

THE GUILDS

Guild of Scholars
Lead by Auren, the dragons of this guild mostly gather around the great library. Whether it be experimentation or research, the dragons of this guild seek knowledge and act as teachers, scribes and scientists for the betterment of the clan. Members include: Bellerophon, Keaira, Oren, Cosmo, Enya and Curie.

Guild of Caretakers
Lead by Melvara, these dragons are charged with the care of dragons, familiars or the lair itself. Members include: Ganzorig, Mirage, Sinewave, Charcoal, Victor and Cerussite.

Guild of Scouts
Lead by Geld, these dragons act as scouts and gatherers for the clan. Their week long expeditions into other territories bring back a wealth of knowledge for the scholars as well as some food and materials for the other dragons of the clan. It's members are Rigel, Nakkar and Kenaz.

Guild of Warriors
Lead by Bitmap this guild encompasses the hunting party and the lair guards, all of whom she personally trains. Members include: Jadeite, Drayth, Jenner, Rigel and Ash.

Guild of Finance
Lead by Lorne, this guild deals with the hoard and the finances of the clan. It is the smallest guild with only Saturn and Rhea, the clan's merchants reporting to Lorne.

Guild of Artists
Lead by Taliesin, the dragons of this guild create some form of art. From bards to painters to sculptors, they all create beautiful things for the clan to enjoy. Members include: Diarmuid, PocketWatch, Amalthea, Nibiru and Sheogorath.

Guild of Craftsmen
Lead by Kenna these crafty dragons create many of the useful things the clan requires. From armor to clothing and jewelry, what isn't used by the clan itself is given to the merchants to sell. Members include: Kyanite, Aldebaran, Sullivan, Laputa, Gazer and Carlin.

Guild of Mages
Lead by Mancer, these dragons have taken it upon themselves to learn all they can of their elemental magic. They are integral in maintaining the web of spells which keep the lair safe and allow it to move from place to place. Members include: Hugo, Diego, Czernobog, Nightshade, Sophie, and Solstice.

Dear Admins: I share my IP address with my brother (username Volos) in the Light flight and I will be tossing dragons and other sundries at him quite regularly. Please pay it no mind!

Also, the user OdderFodder in the Wind flight is a close friend IRL and not only do we send gifts back and forth and hold each other's dragons on occasion but they are also a frequent guest at my house and usually check their dragons while here.
