Minvera was born to the merchant family in the Clan of Singing Blood, and was selected by her mother Saldeti to train with the Twins, the clan warlords. Minstri approved of this and Minvera traveled with the Twins whenever they are away for conquest. While at home she spent much of her time with the Honored class, participating in their rigorous education under Master Mandol - Sir.

Her father did his best to ease her burdens, and showered her with praise and affection. Many dragons felt he spoiled her, but as Finnigan has Minstri's favor, they didn't dare speak against him. Perhaps because of his attentions, she is not as hard as many other warriors. She is possessed of a kind heart.

Windbound Wildclaw
Minvera is good friends with Bard. It was through him she first became exposed to the Windswept Plateau. He spoke of his sister who left their birth clan to go there. This gave Minvera a great curiosity. With the start of that year's Mistral Jamboree Minvera went immediately to her father, who was set to be engaged in trade with the region for most of the holiday. She begged he allow her to go with him, though begging was hardly necessary. He agreed. Even her mother relented, as it would be a good time for her to learn how to guard a caravan - for while dragons might unite during the holidays, Beasts tend not to recognize the custom.

While there, Minvera spent most of her time enjoying the festival and ignoring her duties. A choice her father defended. It was during the festival that she encountered several members of a clan she came to be quite fond of. Clan Athenai - a collection of Wind Warriors and Wanderers, that took hold of her heart.

"They do battle here! Is this not just the sort of clan I have been training to serve?"

Her father caved to her wishes immediately and said to her.

"You have until the end of the festival to convince your mother, and I have that time to return home with something to appease the Queen for your leaving."

And during that time, the arrangements were made, and Minvera became member of Clan Athenai.
