The eldest of all of his sibling, Kalev, is the spitting image of Orion, his mother. Kalev never felt the need to prove himself and never sought a higher place in life. His mother being the heir to the clan he came from, Cairne, and his father being an outsider, it left him with interest of the outside world beyond his clan’s home.

Mild –tempered, and gifted in the arts, he felt that the world experience would help him in finding new muses. Stories from his devoted father fueled his mind, and eventually his wings as he left home in search of something new.

On his journey he stopped by a tavern in Dragonhome. At first the stop was only to rest but he soon heard stories of adventure come from all around him and then music. He soon found himself enjoying the atmosphere but felt that the tavern itself was too crowded. Still, it gave him an idea. He would find his own, he would create that feeling somewhere else and use it as a home. He would be able to hear stories of adventure and then seek them out as others minded his establishment. He would draw the things he would see, sing songs of the adventure, and bring them all back home to his own tavern.

Kalev’s recent adventures do leave him wanting something from home. For this reason, he has tried to keep in touch with his siblings, wishing to reconnect just through words. He has shown little desire to visit them, for now letters are enough. Even when news came that his younger brother was to become heir, Kalev simply sent his congratulation, unaware of his sister’s distaste for the decision. He simply would rather keep to himself.
