Aisling has always been a bright and cheerful dragon. They love plants and spend a lot of time in the greenhouse in a special patch of herbs cultivated for their use, or off in their den drying and preparing herbs to be stored. They always have dreamy, gentle eyes, and are almost entirely unruffleable. They take after their graceful mother in temperament rather than their worrywart father, and are indifferent about not sharing his gift of foresight like their siblings, or so they think.

Very occasionally dreamy Aisling will lose a moment, usually mid conversation, and come back to an odd look from their conversation partner. They gracefully apologize and move on, having not an inkling about the prophecy they just spoke. Luckily their prophecies are usually gentle forewarning of good news; a new mother may be told how beautiful her daughter will be, or a worrying youngster might hear that they will do well in their chosen pursuits. When asked about the prophecies after they come out of their momentary trance, they usually just smile in their gentle way and change the subject.

Out of all their siblings Aisling gets on best with graceful Simone. She never asks them about their odd lapses of attention, and moves smoothly on from any kind of awkwardness with “Hey, watch this,” and a demonstration of her tumbling. Maybe Simone had some sort of forewarning, but she didn’t seem surprised when Aisling joined her in her new clan. Before long Aisling was right at home, although their new clanmates had to grow accustomed to their occasional lapses.
