The clan is from the Starfall Isles. They followed the path of an Arcane-infused brook shimmering with frothy silver and pink as they moved through the Isles. An unexpected disaster forced them to the Cloudsong for a time: the Arcanist had made a mistake, and the Clan was swept up in magical air currents.

After a lengthy period of time attempting to find out if their lands still existed (which required the Windsinger's assistance), they returned to the Isles. They rebuilt their windblown home near the Observatory, and hoped to stay more permanently. The Isles are home, after all. Unfortunately, it was not to be...

After a few idyllic seasons, they needed to move the lair within the Isles to accommodate new members and professions. But the Ice-dedicated flight rep Starburst conspired to magically move them all to the Southern Icefield, to their shock. She could go home - whether or not her clanmates could go free so close to the Fortress of Ends.

Eventually the clan escaped the snow and ice, and returned to the Starfall Isles - deeply shaken by the betrayal and subsequent ordeal. They decided to move near the Tourmaline Archives, the mere presence of an area of knowledge and study a salve on many Clan members' nerves...
