Nobody looking for Haven Zero has ever found it, and few who have found it have ever left. Long ago, Haven Zero was just a collection of burrows deep in the Driftwood Drag. The lives of the dragons who lived there were largely presided over by Spanx, whose love of her clan was as deep as her grip on it was tight. As the clan's numbers grew, so did Spanx's distrust of outsiders. Perhaps she was afraid if being usurped, or maybe she was just adverse to change. Late one moonless night, she gathered up the strongest mages of her clan and built a powerful ward around the border: no dragon would ever find this place again. Night after night, Spanx would gather the mages, and their magic grew darker. Many dragons found themselves in accidental pacts they couldn't escape. With nearly unlimited magic at her side, Spanx became a tyrant, and no one could challenge her or her unearthly henchmen. But the mages, magicians and prophets she abused saw a distant hope. The greatest propjet, the unnamed one, quietly raised a hatchling with all the powers of the forest around her. Meanwhile, other clanmates secretly formed a shadow government to care for themselves when Spanx could not. As Spanx went further off the rails, an outsider named Dune orchestrated the beginning of a rebellion. That rebellion couldn't come to fruition, though, until the prophet's hatchling, now called Arabella, came of age. The ward around Haven Zero seemed to not affect Arabella, and she alluded to other dragons that she lived with that no one else had ever met. Though her powers otherwise we're not as refined, with Arabella's help, Dune and the clan have reversed the ward and locked Spanx in the hibernal den. Unfortunately, the spell also locked many of her loyalists with her. The clan is split in half. Some of the dragons in the den don't seem to notice. A few understand that this is the consequence of their longtime loyalty. Spanx's old army is beginning to suspect something is wrong. But for the most part, life goes on inside the ward as it does outside. Haven Zero outside the ward is enjoying its newly won peace, fragile as it is. They're learning new roles and building a new government. Animals are beginning to find their way in and out again, and even though no roads lead to Haven, a lost dragon might again stumble into the territory. What magic still lingers is hard to say, but for the first time in a long, long time, Haven Zero is a nice place to be. |

AC is actually a sequel to FFVII, so yeah! You should definitely play the game to know what happens before the movie (There are a bunch of characters from the game who come and help with a fight, you'll know who they are if you've played the game)
FFVII AC is very good (If you want to watch it, I recommend playing Final Fantasy VII first (if you haven't already), for context purposes)
