the clan controls the city of Argente, hanging on the sheer cliffs of the coast of the Shifting Expanse, patroling the borders of the lightning farm and training dragons to join the ranks of workers serving the Stormcatcher. Of the various factions vying for political power, the most important ones are the Golden Locusts, the Shackled Moon and the Red Dead, while others like the Coast Guard and the Verdant Claw mainly focus on mantaining the city. Yet others, like the Broken Arrows and the Empty Eyes, exist on the outskirts of society.

the clan supplies regional allies with fish it has stored in great quantity from its skilled fisherdragons. it also has silversmiths and engineers who extract and rewire silver for use on the lightning farm's rods. the coast guard patrols the seaside, keeping it safe from the strange things that dwell on the oceans.
