Clan Gentle Breeze was founded by Melon, a young Fae of the Zephyr Steppes who proved herself to be an exceptional healer. She wished to build a place where any who were lost and weary could stay for a respite, however long or short they desired, somewhere they would consider a home away from home. After years of saving every scrap of treasure she could, and of course getting Windsinger's permission, she was able to start bringing that dream to life.

At the very base of the Zephyr Steppes, where the gusts from the Twisting Crescendo grow mild and warm, the Gentle Breeze Temple was built. Humble at first, but always growing and improving, the temple invites those of all flights and walks of life with open arms. Some have decided to make the temple their true home, and do what they can to help it thrive. It has become quite an eclectic place due to all who come and go, with tapestries and baubles from every flight dotting the walls inside and out, and beds, nests, and furniture of every size and preference you can think of.

As word of the temple spreads and more travelers visit, looking for a little slice of home along their journeys, the clan slowly grows as well. A ragtag bunch of strangers following a common thread to becoming a family.
