A weary traveler you must be, to have ended up here. A small haven hidden up on the cliffs and sheltered amongst the reeds gives life to a tiny bustling community of wanderers. The currents of the Windsinger have brought you this far, but how far will you go? Take a rest. There is much here to explore. Many only stay a few months, some stay long enough to establish a place of their own. Few were born and raised here and even fewer can say they feel a need to live out their days among the whispering winds. We are a community built on many, even when most only stay till the current sends them back on their way.

It was a small cluster of members who started the clan. Originally few in number, nesting along the steppes, they who first stopped here never planned to stay. It was a resting spot, a blip in their travels to continue on along their journey. It was the winds the spoke to some, calling for them to stay a little longer. It spoke of how the currents would always be there to carry them farther. To some it was the calm. The breezes blowing through the reeds provided a sense of peace in the adversity their travels brought.

From here many found peace in the nests of the Meltemi. Dragons from all flights can be found wandering through, the few hatchlings tumbling together. Those who stop are not expected to stay, but what a wonderful thing that is, for this is a haven for many on longer journeys. A safe place to rest. For every wanderer needs somewhere they can return to.

I'm a bronze age greek archeologist ( while dabbling in egypt & mesopotamia ) — my primary focus being in translation work !! I prefer they/them but I really do not care what you call me.
