Clan lore

Welcome to the militaristically centered branch of the reaper council known as the scythe branch. Our dragons are trained from the time they are born to be warriors, assassins, commanders, ambassadors, or some other job of significance to the clan. In the customs of our clan,if we were here from birth, we are named after the gods of the race before us. The three other branches, of the mighty reaper council are located at the clan of dovahpuugyuval, the cloak branch, he is the head and founder of the reaper council,Rougedshadow who is as closely associated to mages as we are to warriors. He is home to the death branch full of mages and magic users and the war branch held at LAZERWEAPON514's clan. They are a mix of warriors and mages.

The Olympian Council
We are led by the Olympian Council which was founded by Eris. The Olympian Council is a council of 12 dragons of varying breeds and flights they all ace proven themselves on battle and were nominated by their peers. Original members like Sol, Kehpri, and Eris will be on the council until their death. They are as follows, Kehpri the patriarch and founder of our clan, Sol the Matriarch or queen of your clan, Eris head of the police force, Boreas the highest ranking general, Thanatos the head healer and Mage, Persephone mistress of agriculture, Nempthys, the hydro kinetic, Hestia the tactician, Atropos the executioner and general, Hephaestus the forge master, Nyx the necromancer and Thetis the electrician.

Ambassadors
We also have 10 ambassadors one for each flight,
Sol so ambassadors for the light flight,Nyx is ambassador for ice, Nemphys is ambassador for water, Nimbus for wind, Arabu for lightning, Odysseus for shadow Baren for nature, Eris for fire, Kehpri for arcane,and we have none for earth
These ambassadors go to and from their respective flights to debate treaties, trade deals, and peace offers. They keep peace within the reaper council and beyond.

The trial of heart and blade
Every year during the celebration of our founding by Kehpri and Sol a series of trials are held for new inductees to qualify you have to be in the clan for 6 months. You then have to receive the blessing of at least 1 member of the Olympian Council who are responsible for you until you are a member for a year. You then have to be blessed by the prophet. You are then subjected to a personal series of mental and physical challenges and if you are alive and in one piece you are inducted into the hallowed ranks of the Scythe branch and are assigned a job.

The Blessing of the Gem
If you prove yourself in battle the gods bestow upon you The Blessing of the gem which turns your scales into a gleaming array of crystals. Your scales become iron hard and resistant to magical and physical damage. If you are truly worth you will the be forged a suit of armor blessed with certain traits like invisibility or increased knowledge.

The Prophecy
Our prophet Delphi issued a prophecy the day she arrived in our clan, which was during a sacred holiday which was in commemoration of a huge victory in a war, it was a prophecy which addressed the end of our clan, and the world. The prophecy goes as such in the exact detailing that Delphi herself spoke these words, these words may spell your doom.

On the eve when the two suns set
The price of the debt
Payed in blood
The daughter of the sun
And son of ice
Will fight until their end
Which will be the world's too

The problem is that we have a daughter of the sub and a son of the ice. The problem is Delphi died immediately after she issued the prophecy and we no long have a prophet, perhaps doomsday is but an eve away...
