A wonderful place, where a dry, parched mouth and cracking, bleeding skin aren't news, and cannot be cured with water or simple ointments. No, in this place of extreme heat and drought, we have grown used to the conditions. As we tread, stones shift underfoot and dust kicks up into the air. Shadows offer no mercy in the front of the unrelenting heat. Food is abundant (If you know where to look) and those raised here from birth become as strong and unbreakable as the rock we prosper in.

Here, we live in harmony with the Earth, understanding the stones from the largest boulders to the smallest pebbles, reading the way the heat cracks the ground, the way the earth quakes under our very feet, but most of all, we understand our companions, for they are our only allies in this desolate place.
