The Clan

Once a struggling and cobbled together alliance of wary families in the Scarred Wasteland, the clan was a fraying thing until the young oracle Brin arrived; searching for a place and speaking of a greater destiny for all of them far afield.

As she grew to prominence within the clan with the aid of Filionel, the dragon responsible for what little cohesion they had, all that remained was an omen to guide them to their new home. A place where they would grow strong and find themselves. They waited until the first dawn of a new winter, which brought them a stranger from the southwest.

This dragon, the imperial Devise, full of anger and granted a second life by strange necromancy, hailed from the Southern Icefields. And so she planned to return.

When she did, the clan followed with her, informally adopting her into its ranks as they made their way into the Ice Flight; swearing allegiance and dedicating themselves to the Icewarden.

Arriving in the Icefields the clan realized they were quite well suited to this place, and decided it was time for a truly new beginning. Naming themselves the Frostfound and organizing truly for the first time, the clan elevated the three dragons responsible for their journey as the first seats on a council they wished to rule them; the Council of the Wise.
