CentipedeLover's Clan
The vivid unknown of Dare Ma'Adini
Clan Info
Greetings. I am rather new to this site. So far, I like Mirrors and Skydancers. As my name implies, I also like centipedes. Fun fact: I was born on Halloween. How sweet is that?
Dare Ma'Adini means "Night Quartz" in Hausa.
I share an IP address with my two sisters KaidaStrife and TeddyX, so we often switch on and off.
Near the edge of the Driftwood Drag, where the Sea of a Thousand Currents tappers off into small rivers that flow silently through the murky realm, sits a reasonably large dam. Blackened moss and rotted logs make up the outer structure of the lair that floats idly on the marshy bank.
A compact hole can be seen near the top of the wooden mound, it's black gaping mouth covered in evergreen pine needles and sharpened twigs that point up, as though to ward away unwanted guests.
Inside, the dam gives way to a more spacious area, small tendrils of moonlight filtering in through minuscule leaks in the outer wall. Several nests made of pine needles and moss line the back of the lair, each decorated crudely with strange plants ranging from monotone leaves to brightly coloured petals.
The ground is damp and soft, leaves and small branches crinkling softly underfoot. Several pairs of glowing eyes watch as some hatchlings bustle about, tossing up roots and stones in a sort of playful dance, their small bodies twisting in sync of each other.
As the shadows grow longer and the moonlight shine brighter, more and more shining eyes blink open in the darkness, patiently waiting with mischievous intent for any creature foolish enough to intrude upon their sacred lair.
