Alternately, there might be a little button with an egg on it next to the nest. That may have been something they stopped giving out after the first day, I don't know.
It's in your hoard under "other". It'll mature your eggs instantly.
I'd recommend using your boon of fertility now; there's a lot of people about to be able to breed dragons, and if you're going to sell any, you'd best get them on the auction block ASAP.
