Event Horizon: a theoretical region in spacetime, in which escape velocity exceeds even the speed of light. It's beyond this point that all matter is eventually compressed into singularity.

"Event Horizon" (or as Tybalt suggested while pitching a clan name: "tumpynutsメ") is the name made by Roark on the fly. Only a few readily refer to the clan by name though, partly because they'd gone so long without a formal name, and mostly because a number of dragons find the name kind of pretentious.
The clan itself is a decently-sized group of dragons from various backgrounds. They've long since made the Hewn City their home- much to the relief of the Shadow members- away from the prying eyes of the Lightweaver. The group's territory is somewhat secluded and remains largely unknown to many clans.
Curiously enough, few Light-born dragons reside here; the general consensus within the group is to function semi-independently from the Flights- though a couple of members still choose to celebrate their birth-flight's respective holidays.
Most wouldn't really consider it a "clan" so much as a "bunch", as through the years it's been more sustained by tolerance and just sort of sticking together rather than trust and loyalty, though that dynamic has started to change over time- for a good portion of the dragons at least. Sabore is both the founder and de-facto leader.

On an interesting side note, imperial dragons make up nearly half of the clan's population. This may or may not spark some conflict with neighbouring clans who are aware of the history and rumours that surround the imperials' lineage.
