Clan Info
Welcome, to the Realm of Hunters.
A long way back, Darkfoot's original Tribe was chased away from the Shifting expanse. Traveling in such a large group was not possible in the unforgiving terrain, and so it broke into four groups, each traveling into separate directions, to Ashfall Waste, to The Dragonhome, to Tangled Wood and the final group led by Darkfoot- to the Windswept Plateau.
Along the way Darkfoot and her friends were joined by other wanderers, that Darkfoot gladly accepted, not seeing any reason to turn away anyone, as long as they could pull their weight to keep the at the time small Tribe alive, hence their old name, a Tribe of Wanderers.
When they eventually arrived in the Windswept Plateau, they stayed for some time in the territory a ridgeback named Itzal had claimed, ending up absorbing him to their clan, for better or worse.
However, they could not sustain the now growing Tribe there forever, and so the Tribe uprooted itself once again, and started to roam the Windswept Plateau in search of another, more permanent place to stay.
They would not have such luck, however, and in their travels encountered areas that left the Tribe starving for weeks on end, not once, but twice. Their survival was thanks to Hrothgar, the at the time King of the clan some of Darkfoot's old Tribe members had joined, as upon reaching wind of the situation, sent some of his people to deliver food for the starving Tribe, on both occasions. Something the Tribe, and especially Darkfoot, is extremely grateful for.
After a long time of traveling, but still with no sign of a place to call home, some interesting news arrived to the Tribe.
Hrothgar's clan has relocated to Sunbeam Ruins due to a massive calamity, not to mention, the leadership had changed over to the new King by the name of Valen, the information arriving via the ambassadors the new King had sent over to renew and strenghten the allience.
While Darkfoot was sorry for the losses the clan had suffered and she was glad to hear most of them were fine...
She also senced an opportunity.
Sending scouts to assess the now vacated area Hrothgar's clan had left behind, she was elated to hear that while it had suffered somewhat, and was dearly in need of repairs, it was still more than habitable and the wildlife was quickly recovering.
Taking her Tribe with her, the pack of Wanderers marched to the area as fast as they could, arriving just in time to claim it for themselves before anyone else got their claws on it.
And so, the Tribe settled into the grounds and territory Hrothgar's clan, now led by Valen, had left behind.
It would take time and a lot of effort to repair everything, settle down, and assert their new ownership of these grounds, but the members of the Tribe were nothing less but determined and prepared for that.
They would no longer have to travel land in search of food or a good place to sleep at night.
They finally had a place to call home.
The time of establishing a much better system of leadership and society, that they could only now truly sustain, was now imminent as well. The system and rules they had had to ensure survival, were now poorly outdated. And while it took time to establish everything, no-one really had anything to complain of the result.
Darkfoot would remain leader, now the Sovereign of the Realm they were establishing (not that she herself much cared for the title). While she would hold the overall say on anything, she would also delegate some aspects to be handled by several other dragons, as well as vow to listen to the opinions of those in power, and keep them in mind as she ruled, helped by Perseus, a mysterious entity currently in the form of a dragon to ease the minds of the members of the Tribe, and his oracle Muriel as advisors.
Recently, by chance as they were renovating an area to become a storage area, they found a much deeper area that the calamity had opened up, where they discovered what appeared to be a part of the Shade, for lack of a better term as the ancient Horrorbeast was near impossible to distinguish visually, as well as several lesser Shade creatures, guarded by Gaolers.
These Gaolers, currently led by Heather, were at first hostile to the intruding dragons, but once it was clear the Tribe members had no intention of disturbing their job of guarding the horrors of the Shade, the situation thankfully de-escalated quickly, and after some talking...the Gaolers were somewhat absorbed into the Tribe, becoming essentially a part of it, though also to an extent being governed by their own rules.
The Tribe ended up then awaiting for the Commander of the group of Gaolers to return from wherever she disappeared to about many centuries ago, since Heather, as was discovered during the negotiations, was only the SIC of the Gaolers.
But now with Grimhild's arrival things are bound to only get more interesting...

I plan to keep 2 of them, and the third will be going to a friend of mine who was interested in having one of them, but needs some time to get the lair space.
Oh, I missed that. Thank you! Yes, Perseus is worth the gems I paid for him.
