Our Story

“ Long ago the Shadowbinder descended upon the Foxfire bramble with three of her most loyal subjects. She instructed them to form a clan dedicated to raising the strongest warriors the Shadow flight had to offer, and to build a name for Her flight. The trio immediately started seeking out recruits, eager to boost the reign of their Empress and Her favor. They named their clan the Amanitus Clan. True to their word, the clan quickly rose up as one of the strongest in Sornierth. But that wasn’t enough for their leader, Thorius.

He had to have it all, or it simply wasn’t worth it.

So he devised a sinister plan, and sought out the assistance of his companions, Elvantus and Corvus. Elvantus wholeheartedly agreed, seeing how much he valued power and fame, Corvus, on the other hand, was unsure. They knew that this plan was an awful idea, and could result in everyone’s death. They tried to warn their companions, but to no avail. The two males left with the rest of the clan that morning while they were sleeping, to go and try to kill the Shade. They ran to go and try to stop their clan, even calling out to Her Highness for assistance in their efforts. However, even with their very own Queen’s help, the Amanitus clan fell to the Shade, leaving none other than a single egg.

Corvus was horribly distraught at this turn of events, and they begged the Shadowbinder to try to save their clan. But the Queen refused, She knew it was too late for them now and that it was a hopeless endeavor. Corvus accepted their Queen’s verdict, and took the sole egg back to the remains of their home. When the hatchling emerged however, it was...different. Little did they know, this would be a new chapter for all of Dragonkind.

This was the start of the war of the Shade.”
