SkeleTelestic's Clan
It's ok, I have no idea what I'm doing either.
Clan Info
Local time for me is American Eastern Standard Time.
Call me Mint or Skele, please! I am asexual and agender. You can call me a he, they or mix 'em up if you like.
I have a more comprehensive Google Doc on Garren lore here.
Garren Clan dragons are notably reclusive and secretive. The Garren rarely interact with neighboring clans or participate in dominance battles. They are doggedly loyal to the Gladekeeper, but don’t seem to trust the other clans of Nature Flight. They will uphold duty and fulfill promises, but don’t expect the Garren Clan to overlook an intrusion on their borders. Whether this is to protect hatchlings with haunting pasts or to protect outsiders from what the experienced seers know of the future, even the Garren can’t say.
Without the presence of strangers, however, it is a different story entirely. The clan is small and incredibly tight-knit, full of curious young dragons that are always willing to pull together so that they all pull through. There is no clear hierarchy besides “Progenitors have final say,” but generally the older dragons take turns watching the hatchlings and teaching young seers how to safely use their abilities. Dragons who are off “hatchling duty” take on other chores like gathering supplies or cleaning the den.
There is no stigma for leaving the clan, whether through Exaltation or simply to try their luck in life, but there is a semi-formal ceremony where the adults of the Garren Clan will give them their namesake and keep some sort of trinket in the hoard to remember them by. For example, a soon-leaving dragon often receives some kind of amulet with their namesake gem/mineral and leaves something significant to their relationships in the clan, like the first item they won in the Coliseum.

Clan Garren
Founded by Iris and Cricket, Garren is a strange clan made up of even stranger dragons. It is a safe place for seers to foresee, preserve their knowledge, and hone their abilities. They live by their self-defined code of vigilance, determination, and compassion. No dragon is obligated to share what they have foreseen, but what they share will be recognized with reverence and caution. One of the founding dragons will choose a new name for every newcomer, as a new life doesn’t need the weight of old attachments. Of all the rules of the Garren, the first and most strictly followed is that no hatchling, whether they are born of the Viridian Labyrinth of not, will ever be denied shelter. (Many of the hatchlings who find themselves in the Garrens’ territory show at least some sort of supernatural talent, though whether it is an unintentional pull towards similar kinds or outside influence is debatable.)Garren Clan dragons are notably reclusive and secretive.
