Wintermoon Haven

Located on the edge of the Fortress of Ends, the Wintermoon Haven is a sanctuary that provides a shelter for those who seek safety, purpose, or freedom. Many dragons who enter the care of Wintermoon ends up staying permanently with the clan or leave after they have found what they are seeking. Founded by Khaos, Ymir, and Nun, the clan is spilt into three factions: Olympus, the diplomats; Yggdrasil, the warriors; and Aaru, the scholars. Each faction has its specific job and purpose, but the clan is dedicated to providing a safe environment for the dragons within the clan and those who seek sanctuary.

The Factions

Olympus was founded by Khaos. Led by Zeus and Hera, Olympus balances between battle and knowledge. Dragons who choose this faction pursue whatever interests their heart desires. Olympus handles the clan’s diplomatic relations and alliances. Dragons seeking shelter typically finds themselves within Olympus where most of the caretakers are. If one wishes to pursue an alliance with Wintermoon, Olympus is who you will want to meet with.

Yggdrasil was founded by Ymir. Led by Odin and Frigg, Yggdrasil is the military of the clan. Dragons who choose this faction pursue the glory of battle. Yggdrasil is responsible for training hatchlings and warriors and when the need to defend the clan arises, this faction is usually called upon for battle. It is required that all dragons residing with the clan must train for basic self defense. If one were to challenge the clan in battle, Yggdrasil is who you will face.

Aaru was founded by Nun. Led by Amun and Mut, Aaru are the scholars and scribes of the clan. Dragons who choose this faction pursue knowledge and creation. Aaru is responsible for educating hatchlings on clan matters and the politics within the world of Sornieth. Scholars, scribes, and artists of all types are who you’ll find in this faction. The history of the clan is recorded by the scribes of Aaru. If you are seeking knowledge, Aaru is who you will find.
