The Gaoler Caravan
Within the Shifing Expanse, a group of Gaolers travels the land looking for work. Numbering only one more than forty, this group of diverse looks and personalities runs a multitude of services. Their main apparel is the fact that they act as temporary jails, able to trap and hold dangerous monsters and dragons for clans and clients for as long as they are needed. Interrogation comes free of charge. Other jobs they can take up include hunting down Horrorbeasts and Shade-Touched creatures to make an area safer, or just guarding a clan until it’s gotten on its feet. They never stay in one place for long. The Caravan is justly named, as they drag along carts which act as temporary homes and storage spaces. Shifts are taken to pull the caravans. Every Gaoler in the Caravan is an apt fighter, and good at constructing prisons both permanent and temporary, but each member also has a special skill. Some have a role reminiscent of those from the Fortress of Ends, like Sentinel or Keeper. Others have something unique to the group. They travel all across Sornieth, helping others and growing closer together, always looking forward to their next destination and next hire.
Lorekeeper: Marko
Pronouns:
Preferred: They/Them
Also Okay!: He/Him, It/Its
Please Don't: She/Her
Please ask if you'd like to refer to me as anything else.
Current Projects:
In General: Finish Banescale lore, gene G1s in Hibernal Den, get a scene for every Gaoler.
Subspecies:Get two Wentikos. I don’t care how long it takes, just get two. Find a subspecies that interests you, and maybe get a dragon from it. Limit of two subspecies per ancient breed.
Other Dragon Projects: Get a fandragon based off of Freaky Fred from Courage the Cowardly Dog. Sure, a weird concept, but I think having a creepy dragon who doesn’t really wish harm upon others, but will stop at nothing to shave others Gaolers, could make for a really interesting villain. Shaved Gaolers are scary in concept and execution anyways. Yellow secondary a must, maybe green primary, a gray tert might fit as well.
Familiars: N/A
The Shade: No Gaoler lair is complete without a part of the Shade! Get an obs/obs/abyss or azure Tundra, put an invisibility cloak on her, and dress her up in the apparel as seen in the Dressing Room. Or just use Iro.
Note to self: Number of UMAs = 17
Everything below is subject to change and editing, right now I'm trying to become a Gaoler mono-lair! Or, well, an Ancient Breed mono-lair once more are introduced.
Hello one and all! Before I get started with my introduction, I just want to clarify something first: I am not the only one in my house who plays Flight Rising. My sister, Silverpelt60, got me into the site, so sorry for any confusion. Anyways, I'm Stormy the Phoenix, and I love Bossdad and Plaguemom. I would definitely be in Plague were it not for my love for the Lightning aesthetic. Cyan is my favorite color, after all.
Yes, I customized my custom progen to look like the Stormcatcher. Yes, I got my non-custom progen Sparkle like that. No, I did not scatter-scroll her.
Was once doing a Pinkerlocke, but it's rather defunct now.
Shoutout to the Riversong Foundation!

The Banescale Flock
Similar to the hailed Gaoler Caravan, the Banescale Flock is a group of traveling Ancients. With small enough numbers to allow for quick and easy travel, these adventurous dragons have seen almost all there is to see from a bird's eye view. Each day is a new journey, with new experiences ripe for the taking. One place they are always sure to return to, however, is their nesting grounds within the Shifting Expanse. Similar to the communal nest in which the first new generation of Banescales was found, these Banescales all lay their eggs in one place, before heading off to travel once more after all of their children have grown and fledged. Unlike the Gaoler Caravan, these Banescales have no real purpose or duty to uphold. They live for the adventure and uncertainty of each new day!
Past broadcasts: Writer's block is my mortal enemy.
Get in the car losers, we're going Horrorbeast hunting.
