LF Spooky Dragons!
Mackico's Clan
Ginseng can't remember anything that happened last week.
Clan Info
Eventually all of my permanent dragons will have some lore, whether it is a snippet or screeds.
Dragons on the Wanderers Tab are for sale. Most of them should be on the AH already. If they aren't on the Wanderers Tab of my active lair, they aren't for sale, and this is non-negotiable. You may make an inquiry about possible offspring, however.
Clan of the Silver Pine.
At the western edge of the Veridian Labyrinth, dug beneath a tree that is a conifer definitely but probably not a actually a pine in spite of what the clan has to say about it, which looks silver in certain light, are a series of tunnels going down deep into the earth, broaching a series of interconnecting caverns carved out by underground water aeons ago.
This is where the Clan of the Silver Pine live.
They are a patchwork group, full of dragons who have chosen their own purpose and way of living that just happens to have meshed, to a degree, with the rest of the Clan. Some have bright colours. Others are dull. Some are intelligent. Others take some time to reach any sort of conclusion. Some remember things that happened centuries ago. Others forget names and faces within a couple of weeks and must be gently reminded of who someone is. Some fight and hunt. Others cultivate plants or keep records or have spent most of their lives studying long-lost civilisations. Some are awake and active all year round. Others hibernate for years on end, deep in the coollest, deepest, dimmest tunnels. Many are bright young creatures, full of insatiable curiosity. Some are old and tired and tolerant, but no longer always seeking questions and rather offering answers, when and where they can.
The dragons here paint themselves. Many wear necklaces here, a headpiece there, though most shirk heavy apparel because of the heat. They are partial to dressing in loose silks, leaves and flowers and flowing gossamer gowns.
They are an eclectic, close-knit, sometimes very noisy community where one dragon's weakness is another's strength, and every dragon is cherished regardless of where they came from and what they can or cannot do.
Ostensibly, there is a hierarchy, at the top of which are Ginseng and Scilla, the Clan Leader and Clan Matriarch, respectively. The pecking order is loose, however, fluid, and whoever is in charge of anything at any given moment has earned their position through demonstration of expertise. They may retire at any time, or someone else might come along offering new skills, at which point they will step down. It is a clan built entirely upon mutual cooperation.
More recently an group of mischievous little dragons that look an awful lot like hatchlings but are, in actuality, far, far older have made themselves at home here. No one quite knows if they're the spirits of hatchlings that died too young, or meddled with magic before they ought, but they all seem to have strange eyes.
