Hidden in the place where three flights meet, far from the battle-scared wastes of the borderlands, hides a bountiful forest filled with secrets. Deep within roams a pack of Wildclaws, the Aeolian clan which is open to all within the shining boughs of the mysterious glade. Sunbeams cut through gaps and soothe your bones as you walk under thick canopy.

Their territory stretches wide with beautiful flowering blooms that choke out weeds and creeping vine. Dreaming, you wander in wonder. How could this exist? Secret lies away from it all. The fighting, the wars. The violence. Here, peace walks with you, hand in yours, leading you forward. This is a sacred place, it whispers to you, sacred because of those who walk within, who care for this forest beyond anything else, and welcome you into a haven not meant for mortal turmoil.

You walk on. Footsteps join yours, and they appear: the wildclaws responsible for the glorious growth all around you. They are magnificent colors in gentle shades and flowing silk, almost divine in the light and silence of the forest temple around you.

“You are welcome here, traveler,” one of the wildclaws greets warmly. How wonderful it would be to simply gaze upon him, all moon-colored silks and feathers and shining wings. A peculiar feeling strikes you, one you can't quite name yet. “What is your name? I am Tethys, Protector of the Aeolian clan.”

The feeling of home, you realize.

At least for a little while.
