A Nature Flight

Malus Mahinga was started when a Gladian named Galvi ventured

far away from the Gladian Ancestral Home. There she met her mate Griflie, who was a silly charming skydancer. From them on the two traveled the world meeting other dragons who wished to join them. Then one day when the clan had gotten to large to keep their nomadic lifestyle they traveled to the Everbloom Gardens where they set up their home.

Roles

Heres a list of all the dragons and their roles in Malus Mahinga.

Chief Leaders- The chief leader is the one in charge. They organize the whole clan and make sure everything goes as planned. Their mate is usually considered the co-chief and takes over while the chief is away.

Battle Chief- They lead the battles and make sure everyone is trained. They are very important. This dragon teaches the young ones how to fight. They also direct the guards. They always have an apprentice with them, just in case they die during battle then another dragon is always there to be able to take over.

Warriors- Warriors are the most skilled members of the clan and usually also have other jobs. These are different from guards because they are only called upon in battle.

Guards- These dragons protect the vault and nests from intruders and beastclan. Science not all guards are needed at once these dragons sometimes have another role they also fulfill.

Food Organization Chief- This dragon organizes all the food throughout the clan. They make sure that the cooks are doing their jobs and send out hunting and gathering parties.

Xontla

Hunters, Gatherers, and Cooks- These dragons have the important and busy role of gathering food or cooking it. They are orchestrated by the Food Organization Chief. Without them the clan would die.

Scavengers/Collectors- SC’s have a very important job, they make sure that enough items are found to give to the traders who sell them and gather precious treasure for the tribe.

Scouts- The scouts explore new lands and chart them, they give these charts to the warriors who help expand the clan using the adventures knowledge.

Sorcerer and Seer- These are the magic users of the tribe. They are usually very skilled and spend years training under their mentors. It is split into two grounds, sorcerers who skilled in all magic, and seers who can predict the future.

Healers- These dragons heal other hurt dragons from around the tribe with herbs and usually weak magic. If a dragon is seriously injured they are advised to go to a sorcerer.

Sage

Caretakers/Teachers- These dragons are also teachers. They do everything with young ones, except teaching them in a future skill, unless they wich to grow to be a caretaker. They also tend to the eggs while the parents are doing their roles throughout the day.

Guest Handlers- These dragons make sure that when a guest is brought into the tribe they don't cause any trouble. Usually only one or two dragons are needed for this simple role.

Traders- These dragons make the dangerous journey out of Malus Mahinga to go to the marketplace and trade goods. They are the prime money makers of the tribe and are very important. They also buy things that other dragons want or are needed for the tribe.

Scientist & Scholars- These dragons are the smart ones. They try to make new discoveries in healing, technology, and other things. They help to train the young ones in how to read and write.

Young ones- Before dragons have grown they are not given a role and will stay as a young ones until they reach breeding maturity. This is when they train in any field they wish to go into and learn as much as they can without having the responsibilities of a role.
