Glorywisp's Clan

If you ever find yourself in the unfortunate situation of being lost within the Tangled Wood, do not lose hope. Some lucky dragons are fortunate enough to find safety. If you happen to lay eyes on a wispy plume of glowing fire, the choice is yours: either stay put and hope for rescue or follow the dancing flame.

The wisp would lead you to a misty and murky clearing before dissipating into the gloom. A large arch would stand before you, a dark screen obscuring whatever's on the other side from your view. Glowing fungi, soft ivy, and thick brambles are twined together ornately to create the structure. Strangely, the sweet smell of lavender seems to waft from the other side. You feel a slightly cold sensation as you pass through, your eyes momentarily deprived of all light.

After padding through the abyss for a few steps, your talons meet soft and fertile earth. Your eyes take a moment to adjust to the dazzling sight that greets you. A dwindling fire smolders in one corner of the clearing, burning with an unnatural lavender color and circled by a group of chattering dragons. Bioluminescent flora is dotted across the clearing, twinkling softly in the mist. Lanterns, glowing with a soft blue or lilac, are hanging from wooden posts driven into the soil. Looking up, you realize that the sky is completely littered with stars and moonlight, despite it being the middle of the day.

Around the edges of the clearing, many homes lay, some carved from brambles and others simply stone caves. One glimmers in the murky air, draped with bioluminescent flowers and encompassed by more plumes of purple fire. A small Pearlcatcher steps outside to meet you, illuminated by the wisps. Her purple eyes shimmer in the firelight, and she smiles at you.

"Welcome to the Willowshade Clan."
