The results of the breeding have come in. Three nearly identical ofspring displaying traits from both parents. These new subjects seem to display individual behaviors but have yet to display the collective ones yet.
Subject Alpha has become active. We have yet to conclude what stimulus was responsible yet. Alpha seems to be less sporadic than the other subjects, exhibiting an almost hypnotic dance when presented with food. So pretty... so one...
The test results of the samples from Subject Gamma's wing spots have come in. They seem to be the staff member's original tissue fragmented and suspended in a hard crystalline lattice. X-ray analysis shows the composition is mostly silicon.
Subject Beta and Gamma have exhibited the most peculiar behavior patterns. They seem to move with uncanny unison when presented with a singular task like attacking food, but when left with no task, they move independently of eachother.
Subject Beta and Subject Gamma will be sharing a cell for the time being, I'm hoping to see some interesting interactions between the two. I've also collected a sample of the metallic green spots on Subject Gamma, and will run further tests on them.
The black goo left over from Fluid-B seems to be some kind of assimilation means. A staff member has unfortunately undergone this process, but his sacrifice will allow for further observation. perhaps this species can't reproduce on their own.
Given the possibility of harm to Subject Alpha, Subject Beta will remain in isolation until the safety of both subjects can be determined. A test of the odd fluid, henceforth Fluid-B, is now being run on the skin samples from Subject Alpha.
A batch of small field mice has just arrived, and initial tests of Subject Beta's liquid have been most peculiar. While not acidic in nature, the effects closely resemble a strong hydrofluoric acid. Causing necrosis and subsequently death.
It's also worth note, that upon arrival of Subject Beta, Subject Alpha is exhibiting more physical awareness as well as a more refined and less sporadic brain activity. Once I determine the threat of Subject Beta, I would like to put them in the same cell.
I just received a new subject. This one showing extreme erratic and violent behavior. It also has a very peculiar bio-defense. I've ordered a number of small animals for further testing.
I revived a rather odd assignment from a colleague of mine. A comatose dragon of unknown origin. It's preliminary tests arise suspicion, but further tests are required. The subject seems to pose no threat. I will continue attempting to elicit a response.
