This Clan disregards official lore.

This Clan sits on an island of snow and ice. Never once has an unwanted visitor been able to escape alive without the proper equipment. The weather here is well below freezing and ready to threaten the lives of the unprepared. The generations of dragons raised here are immune to the freezing effects, and have instead, adapted to its cold weather and temperatures. We are the island and the island is us, we are what is breathing this island alive with the flurry of energy and snow. Without us, the island would not flourish, and has given us this adaptation as compensation. Newcomers are required to wear warm coats and winter gear until the island accepts it as one's own, which, depending on the individual and their personality, may take a few days or months.
This island has existed for tens of thousands of years and we have only existed for a mere fraction of that. Evolution was boosted to escalate the creation of our species; we originated here, starting with one of the most advanced creatures surrounding the time of our creation, Alois. She lived alone for many years, simply surviving on very little until a young dragon by the name of Flamebright II adventured onto this island. He had stumbled upon it by accident; he was simply just trying to reach his homeland quicker. A curious heart drove him into the near middle of the freezing blizzards that were captivating the island. He could barely feel his limbs anymore and felt as if he was taking his last breaths when Alois took pity on him, just because she thought he was cute. She brought him, unconscious, into her cave and covered him with generous amounts of hand-made blankets. When he came to, he thanked her graciously for what she has done for him, but when he turns to leave, the blizzard is still ongoing. Even with the gear that she had, he wouldn't make it out alive. So, instead of leaving, he stayed inside the cave as Alois went out to hunt and gather for him and herself, taking care of every little need. When the blizzard started to subside, he was packing up to leave, when he hesitated. Alois hadn't return quite yet, but if he waited, he might miss this break in the storm.
