Tenebrae

Sometimes frightening at first glance, Tenebrae is the kindly, though eccentric, mother of the Black Bog Clan. She runs the small, rough-looking tea house at the trading post where she will always have a brew waiting for the tired, troubled or down-trodden. While friendly and benign, the dark-scaled Imperial delights in spooking or scaring her guests, particularly through ghost stories and tall tales.

An expert botanist, toxicologist and amateur (but dedicated!) tea master, Tenebrae can mix anything and everything a customer might ever need. Delicious teas, powerful curatives and deadly poisons as well as friendly advice on how to best enjoy each.

She often acts as the more sensitive side to Rhizanthel's more cut-throat or sometimes down-right thuggish business practices, always quick to point out who might get hurt or offended by the Matriarch's decisions. Tenebrae is routinely the peacekeeper among the other dragons in the den as well and generally considered to be the only reason the Black Bog clan isn't warring with the neighbouring factions.

In this capacity, Tenebrae is an excellent negotiator and spokesperson, often allaying rival clans' grudges or perceived insults. Sometimes with payment and promises, sometimes with a stern scolding.
