Endo is a quiet, studious coatl-turned wildclaw. Originally bought to service Pyre, the Leader, Endo has found his own niche in the clan and works hard to keep it. He sits as the calm voice as a representative of Pyre, who is often out fighting in the coliseum. He cares for his hatchlings and studies in his spare time, learning different languages and sciences. Endo teaches daily, from morning classes with the hatchlings to afternoons classes with the scholars. Those classes have fallen into massive bouts of discussion that lead on well into the night. Often he is joined by other dragons who wish to listen in to whatever topic is being thrown around the table, but generally he and his fellow scholars are left alone. Endo and Pyre's relationship is strange. Endo loves Pyre with all of his heart, but he understands it is not reflected. Pyre deeply respects Endo, and holds him on a higher pedestal than everyone else, but she does not love him. Endo understands this and is okay with it. He doesn't believe Pyre is ever capable of loving, and appreciates the relationship he has with her. He and Pyre still share a nest, and sleep together for warmth and safety, but he never pushes Pyre. Pyre in return brings him items she finds in the coliseum, and protects his stuff with her life. She knows of it's importance to him. Endo keeps a fishpond full of decorative fish. Imperials and coatls are not allowed anywhere near his fishpond, lest they incite the wrath of Pyre. Endo's other mate, a wildclaw he shares with Pyre, is the fellow colleague, Loa. Her skills in divination and her 'spies' meant she was a very useful dragon to keep around. It wasn't just Endo that fell for her, Pyre took her as her mate, claiming her from the other males. Loa didn't mind. Neither did Endo. Due to some tricky magic on Loa's part, soon Endo shed his otter-like body and joined the two wildclaws on their cuddlepile, naked, wobbly, and still getting used to his new body, but as a wildclaw.

While coatl come from the land of fire, Endo's fire is a little muted. Born without a goal in life, he wandered aimlessly for a while before he was captured by smugglers in the land of Shadow, where he was brought to the auction house. He was to be bought and executed for meat. This year was a bad year for coatls. With Coatl drinks, Coatl houses, and the recent trend for legless coatl, Endo was doomed to be the next victim to Coatl memes. Luckily for him, a pair were searching the auction house themselves, the Queen, Pyre and her clan mother, Lira. Little to his knowledge, entire clans were devoted to the search for a coatl of his colour. Coatls of every size and colour were being picked and presented before the wildclaw Queen, in hopes they will be picked to be her mate. Every coatl was turned back. After her last mate, Fallon, was kidnapped and sold to a nursery to serve a similar coloured coatl, Pyre was furious. She needed a new mate, one of specific colours. When hundreds of coatls were presented before her and none of them matched, she finally took matters into her own hands and went searching herself. And right at the front of the lines was Endo. With his colours only one off her ideal colour choice, she bought him and brought him to her new clan, one of Nature. Endo was honoured to be chosen by such a queen, and strove to serve her dutifully, though he didn't know his duties yet. To that she stayed stubbornly silent. When he returned home to the nature clan he learned of the predicament. Two clans had merged and dissension was in the air. One clan, a male dominant clan lead by Mordremoth, was the original clan and demanded their original rights. Pyre's clan, consisting mainly of coatls and skydancers, wanted Pyre to be Queen of both clans. Of course, there were particular dragons that fought the hardest for their leaders position, and their tensions separated the clans. Misogynism against feminism warred. It was during one of these arguments that Endo learned he was to be Pyre's mate. It was up to him to provide Pyre with strong daughters and sons.... Preferably daughters. It was of course a difficult role to take up. When Pyre confirmed the rumours, he strove to work hard to please his Queen. Pyre had saved his life and he was indebted to her. He began to follow her around and listen to the politics, as she and Modremoth discussed the clan's whereabouts. He followed the children and taught them games. He learnt the language of the faes, whose monotone voices struck hard against his ears. He discussed fighting with the coli fighters, learnt to heal with the healers, cared for Flossy when Zeona and Celeste were exhausted, and even shadowed Modremoth. He tried his hardest to be allowed in the clan, and learn everything about the clan's predicaments. He soon realised though, that no one turned his eye quite like Pyre. Her strength and grace and ferocity outshone every coatl in the clan. He spent more time with her, learning about her as well as her duties. Soon.... He fell in love with her, and strove to dedicate his life to her, not only for his duties, but as a true mate. Pyre was pleased. This was what she wanted. Endo would never leave her, not again. When Pyre told him she was with child, he was delighted. Although it was with only one child, he prayed it would be a daughter. And on August the 20th, 2015 his prayers were answered. The child was weak, but she was a girl. Now he stands beside Pyre as her male representative. He will serve Pyre till his own end. With him by her side, Pyre will win her wars.

Glint just tried to assassinate Endo and Pyre's child. One silent night, whilst he was studying tundra and the child was asleep, Glint snuck in with poisoned talons and tried to steal the child. Unfortunately for her, Endo heard her as she tried to fly away with the baby and screeched. He stunned her and alerted the other dragons to her before he tried to grab the baby from her. Unfortunately he missed the baby and watched her fall, as Glint started to fly away. Well, if Pyre wasn't standing there. The two battled, but Endo did not care. His first concern was the child. He was certain Pyre could win the battle. Finally the noise of decimation stopped, and when Endo looked over his shoulder, Pyre stood with her foot on Glint's throat, cutting off air. With a growl she pronounced the dragon exiled. When Pyre released her grip and Glint bolted upright, Endo noticed her wings were gone. Feathers were ripped out, leather was shredded, and blood was everywhere. Glint would never fly again. Pyre stood proudly, panting, in her glory. Scratches ran down her armored legs, and Endo could see the gleam of poison in the moonlight. Modremoth galloped in and Pyre turned on him. Discussing deeply, all while keeping an eye on the weakened Glint, they came to the same conclusion. Glint was staying here, in the lair, as she was Modremoth's mate, but she was now at the very bottom. She was exiled. Endo then decided for the child's safety that she needed to go. She needed to be free of this and find her own adventure. And so, when everything was settled down and Pyre was okay, he sent her on her way in the arms of a Skydancer to a new clan. He knows not of what happened to the child, but he wishes her a strong journey. He wishes she was safe.

Pyre knew he was sad. She’d seen him a few times now, staring off into the distance while his pen slowly dripped ink on the parchment. She knew what he was staring at. The tundra children were playing with the bogsneaks again. They leapt, scampered, and fell as they tried to chase the bubbles the bogsneaks blew. The laughter could be heard from here, loud enough to hide the faint sniffling coming from Endo. Her gut wrenched as she stroked her stomach. She’d tried, for him. She knew he missed the children, and she’d tried so hard to bear them for him. But whether it was age, injury, or her womb itself, all the eggs she’d lain were still. The magic was warped, the babies stillborn. She couldn’t breed anymore. Backing away from her quietly sobbing mate, she turned and loped out of the house. She needed to hunt.

The council had finished. It had been a while since she’d sat in it. The others had greeted her warmly and welcomed her in, then proceeded to ignore her. She didn’t mind, she wasn’t there to oppose their ideas. They knew what they were doing. Instead her eyes were on Loa. The wildclaw was younger than her, yes, but she was powerful. Her talents in the dark arts terrified her, but her skills at fighting impressed her. And she was on their side, a fact Pyre was thankful was true. She made a formidable enemy. Pyre wasn’t the only one noticing her. Endo snuck glances at her he entire meeting. Other males did too. She had to make her claim before they did. If it made Endo happy. Pyre refused to admit how Loa made her happy too.

Their first nest together was a success. The most stunning colours decorated the children’s hides. Endo laughed and played with them as Loa and Pyre looked on. Pyre lay there, swishing her tail for the children while Loa rested her head on Pyre’s back. Loa had taken to the polyamory very easily, finding comfort in the fellow wildclaw. It didn’t take long before Endo quietly expressed his wish to join the two women. Loa looked at Pyre, and when she nodded, Loa set to work on the spells. Endo had his children, now he shall have his wives.
