Shadowfrost

Something is under your paw. Something silky, the smoothest fur you've ever felt. Not quite wet, but the coldness of the fur rises up between your toes, and the impression is there. Somehow it had escaped your vision, for just a few moments earlier, the ground before you was bare. A chill runs down your spine as you notice something in the corner of your eye. Something huge is in the shadows to your left - was that there as well? All this runs through your head in a fraction of a second, as your weight advances forward, forward, and.. down, as you slip on the large tail. Spun by the force of your fall, you lay on your back, staring up at the giant, furry shape looming over you. Icy eyes, horns, and teeth gleam from underneath a black wolf cape, a cape that is only one of many, many layers of fur. Tiny icicles hang from the tips of some dark tufts, eternally frozen into a circuit pattern as well as engulfing his paws and wingtips. Larger crystals lay elegantly around his neck and atop his head, with a few adorning his wings. A heavy paw is placed upon your chest, and with the motion, a flowing blue scarf ripples smoothly from around his neck. The frozen claws on your chest curl inward slightly, gripping you as you are held down. You shiver, frozen half from fear, half from the sharp, cold breeze that envelops you. The Tundra speaks, the breath from his deep, smooth voice clouding in the frosty air around him.
