Biography


For the amount of dragons that come to speak to Caesura, you notice that very few get a response from her. Instead, the small Mirror at her side seems to be effortlessly translating her small movements and noises into elaborate paragraphs, informing the pair's conversational partner of everything they might need to know, and then some.


Enjambment is one of the elder dragons of the clan, having migrated south from his native Sea to the dryer lands of the Windsinger shortly after the clan's Founding. He and Caesura are nearly attached at the hip, and he bounds after her large steps regardless of where she is going. The nest-caring dragons will often point them out to the young hatchlings, whispering tales of their undying love and affection for each other. Almost all of their children have gone on to serve Gods, whether their own Windsinger or the other deities and Enjambment has a treasured book of their names that he keeps in his den. On lonely evenings, when their newest clutch has gone on to adventure across Sornieth, he can be found gazing into the firelight and tracing a claw across each carefully-scrawled name, sending thanks to each God that his child is serving for caring after his own.
