Biography

Rotting Plaguebringer Effigy All-Seeing Shroom Plaguebringer Bone Scrimshaw
Member of the Stone Order
It is said that long ago, when dragonkind was young, there were some dragons who were exceptionally devoted to their gods. Far more than any other, these dragons proclaimed their allegiance in any way they could, They felt as if they were one with their home flight, a living embodiment of the element that defined their lives.

These dragons came to represent their flight, far more than any ordinary loyal dragon could do. Rather than remain home, however, these dragons would venture out, travelling between territories as if a deity themselves had sent out a signal. Eventually, it appeared that these dragons would almost always end up meeting one another, as if they had been attracted through some force. Once eleven of these dragons had gathered, they would remain together, journeying as a group rather than alone.

These wandering tribes named themselves Pillarshards, after the ultimate symbol of the gods. Over the ages, the existence of these small tribes began to decline, until the point where they became a thing of the past more than anything that still could be found. However, the descendants of these Shards still live on, wandering across Sornieth.

The Shards’ descendants would serve as rogue ambassadors of a sort: they themselves went out to find a place to spread the word of their deity, without being asked to do so by anyone. Only few of them exist now, but as all wanderers do, some of them happened upon the Clan: and it was exactly eleven who did.

Rot was the second one to join. Originally, this was an encounter she blamed on chance, but chance shifted to fate as more and more of her kind joined; however, having a full tribe of descendants once more is something she can’t exactly complain about.

As is practically required of her flight, Rot is a resilient dragon, one who doesn’t mind enduring the most difficult trials and would rather see it as a fun challenge. Likewise, her survival-oriented mindset is an important asset to the Clan, as she has proven herself time and time again to be an excellent hunter.

Rot in particular enjoys having a separate camp to stay in, although even then, the Mirror occasionally will simply disappear into the wild for days at a time. Nevertheless, Rot - in spite of her fierce appearance - is a driven, dedicated dragon, and one her goddess would be proud of.
