A sheltered, pious temple maiden who recently Ascended to almost deity-like status when she evolved from a Pearlcatcher into an Imperial.

Despite her status, she is still very naive at heart, and prefers to keep to herself.

One can always find her praying on the Altars of Earth and Light, her stoic Golden Idol companion standing guard over her bowed form.

Character notes:
Luceat leaves her altar before dawn and rises high above the clouds to watch daybreak, as part of her homage to the Lightweaver. She might be glimpsed descending back down to her altar at mid-morning, sunlight glinting off her translucent wings.

Before Ascending she also used to follow a group of Snapper nomads around on their annual migration across the Dragonhome plains. They were the ones who saved her from being sold off to unscrupulous individuals at a slave market, after the temple she was brought up in was raided by bandits.

Now that she's an Imperial and hardly able to fit on the back of her nomad friends anymore, she flies above them instead, gliding effortlessly on the winds. She watches over them as part of her duty/homage to the Earthshaker. Her Ascension allows her to thrive on sunlight alone, allowing her to remain with the caravan without the need for sustenance, sometimes staying aloft for days at a time without break.

Her pantheon is both Earth and Light. Her fate was drawn by the Earthshaker's hands at birth, while Lightweaver gave her the boon of Ascension to an Imperial to aid her destiny, which remains yet unseen.
