Biography

Spine

Eyes marked by red
Claws sharpened on souls
Bones carved as if from stone

A creature like this
He lurks in the dark, waiting with gleaming scythe
A wicked grin and bloody knife

He walks this world with a heart that does not beat
With lungs that do not breathe
With flesh that does not bleed

Soul Harvester/Grim Reaper

Spine is what some could call a death enthusiast. He prowls in graveyards, stalks morgues, chases after spirits, ghosts, after any soul who's lost themselves to madness and chaos. He seems to be just a regular creep who is obsessed with dead things.

However...he is much more than just that. Spine is death, he is the grim reaper waiting with gleaming scythe. He carves a path of darkness wherever he goes, reaping souls and taking names. He is what goes bump in the dark, he is a creature caught between life and death, a grey being with no boundaries to hold him back.

On the flipside, he's a kind and rather humble person when not working. When harvesting souls he takes the few extra steps to be soothing, to comfort them before he ushers them politely to their chosen afterlife or reincarnation. He says it's just part of the job, but....no one else would sing to a hatchling before he gently, kindly takes them to the afterlife, no one else would sooth the worries of an old soldier, no one else would promise a dying mother that her children would be protected....

Spine takes his job very seriously and absolutely despises those who go against the norm; he hates necromancers and what they do. Once you raise someone from the dead, their soul is considered worthless and their life invalid. Those who are brought back from the dead - they can never pass on.

He hates necromancers, he hates the practice of necromancy, everything about it. He hopes that those who indulge in the forbidden art dies in the most painful way possible.

He also has a fondness for sweets. Candied chocolates are his favorite.
