Lore Adi is a disciplined, swift, and graceful Force-Sensitive warrior. She and Liam came to the clan to train with Luke.

Short Story

A breath of wind. A burst of fire. A glimmer of starlight. These and other images floated before Rarity's mind's eye, faintly at first, then growing stronger and stronger until it seemed that the awesome, terrifying presence of the deities themselves filled her mind. It was too much for one mortal psyche to bear. Her deep-blue eyes snapped open as she woke from her dream. She used her forepaws, wings, and antennae to orient herself. She was lying in her own nest, with her mate, Spike, snoring lightly next to her. She could sense that the rest of the clan was sleeping soundly, too - with only two exceptions apart from herself.

Rarity could tell she wasn't going to be able to go back to sleep anytime soon. She wandered through the cave system carved into the side of the Focal Point, heading toward the entrance. She needed air, and space to think.

She wasn't particularly surprised to see the hulking silhouette of an Imperial six times her size, curled up in the cave mouth with her chin resting on her forepaws. She approached and stood next to her friend's head. "Couldn't sleep, either?" Rarity asked her.

"No," said Starshine. "It's coming."

"Yes. It is." They were both Water-element dragons, blessed (or cursed, it sometimes seemed) with visions of the future. They had both known for a long time that something was going to happen - something that would change the world forever. The trouble was that none of them knew exactly what was going to happen. Their abilities refused to tell them whether it was good, bad, dangerous, or beneficial - all they knew was that it was big.

"Where's Adi?" Rarity asked after a moment. She knew that she would be awake, too.

"Down there, burning off energy." Starshine pointed out through the cave mouth and downward. Adi, the third Water dragon in the clan, was leaping from rock to rock, swinging at imaginary enemies with her sword. Even though it was the middle of the night, the stars gave her plenty of light to see by.

The Wildclaw finished her exercises and climbed back up to the cave mouth. "Hey, you guys," she said to Rarity and Starshine, sheathing her sword and catching her breath. "Did you have the same dreams I did?"

"If it felt like all the deities invaded your head at once, then yes," said Rarity.

Adi nodded. "That's the one. It's coming. In the morning."

"Yes," Starshine agreed. "I know. I had the dream, too."

They all gazed out of the cave entrance, contemplating the sea and the stars. Tomorrow, the secret they had shared only with each other for so long would finally be revealed.
