The spirit of the morning fog is an ephemeral, twisting thing; hiding behind shadow when she can and layers of subterfuge when she cannot. She flits like gossamer and spider-silk on the wind, from love to hate and back again, as fairies are wont to do. Her alliance cannot be bought, but it can be traded for- a shred of a lover’s mane, a child’s favored plaything, and she will bring back what has been lost. Be wary, however; her trinkets are placeholders for the memories they hold, and should one in desperation give her something too dear, well.

Those who lose themselves to the mists are not easily found again.
