Description: An experienced fisher who works hard to keep her clan's pescatarians satisfied. Despite being born to a plague nest, she enjoys wielding lightning magic which she uses to aid her seafood gathering. Along with Tarragon, Moraine, and Tamarind, she helped found Florabrisa. Perhaps the most enigmatic of the founders, Zaffre prefers to keep to herself, generally only leaving her seaside den to either bathe, fish, or join political meetings. Once in a while, she will join the coli group, though she doesn't enjoy fighting monsters nearly as much as her fellow warriors. She loves the water, and often takes long rests in the shallows. (As an Imperial, her definition of 'shallows' goes deeper than for most other dragons.) She and Tamarind were once married but have divorced. Though still a bit awkward around each other, they act professional and keep the clan's best interests in mind when they have to meet for clan politics. She is currently partnered with her long time best friend (and former ex-lover) Kyurem; the two had dated and had a child long before the founding of Florabrisa. They split but remained friends and co-parents. After Zaffre got together with Tamarind and founded Florabrisa, Kyurem came to live in the lair to continue sharing responsibility raising Clash. Zaffre and Kyurem's friendship only grew stronger throughout the years, and though some dragons were suspicious of their relationship, they swear they had been entirely platonic during Zaffre's marriage. They didn't resume dating until more than a decade after the divorce. Background: Zaffre was born of a strong plague clan. A well-kept Imperial of vibrant blues is not a common sight in the Scarred Wasteland, and she learned quickly how to keep herself safe. Her strong survival instincts only got sharper as she grew, but she was much better at self-survival than group survival. Making friends never came naturally to her, and half the time she couldn't stand to be around the other Plague dragons. When she finally decided to leave her birth clan, few even noticed. She didn't know where she was going to go. The only place that called her was elsewhere. Somewhere she wouldn't have to fight just to live. She felt no remorse leaving the Wasteland behind and enjoyed her travels. She loved the serenity of the Tidelord's sea, and when she came to the Shifting Expanse, working with lightning felt more natural than plague magic ever had. But the desert environment was harsh, and she never felt she had truly found her home until she landed in the Windswept Plateau, where she would come to meet her fellow clan leaders and founded a clan with her own ideals. A place she could choose not to fight, a place she could live in the moment with no worries and just enjoy the scenery. That was Florabrisa.
