Blizzard is a quiet dragon, the one who hangs back and watches. An aura of gentle calm seems to surround kindly Blizzard. He's the one to take the shy dragons away from the more boisterous members of his Clan to calm them down when things get rough, and in a storm you can trust him to be there. In battle he's highly protective of his friends, but so self-sacrificial for them that his Clan often has to rescue him. If there's any dragon you can trust, it's Blizzard- but he'll tear himself apart out of worry for anyone he cares about, so be careful what you say.

Do you know that friend of yours that's so kind and so sturdy that it seems like nothing can shake them? That's Blizzard. Most dragon's first impression of him is a dragon that is unshakable, unbreakable, one that's always been there and will never be gone. He knows this and tries to keep it that way; he doesn't want other's pity, he just wants to help. One of his greatest strengths is also one of his greatest weaknesses in this way; his utter desire to be seen as the healer, the helper, the one that anyone can go to, means that he often feels as though he can't show his own hurts, for fear of dragons not wanting to go to him because of his problems. Within his Clan, dragons have shown him it's not that way, and so it's one of the few havens he feels safe talking about his troubles in. But Blizzard will always put aside his own problems for another's, even if it means abandoning something important to him. To him, top priority is other's welfare. Unforchantly it means that he's also easily hurt; he's very trusting and therefore when a dragon approaches him it can be relatively easy to take advantage of him. Touch, physical contact, mental contact, any kind of contact- all of it is important to Blizzard. He loves hugs and loves to show his love for other dragons in simple gestures and touches. Such utter affection is seen as being odd by many, but you get used to it after a while. This affection is extended in his healing jobs. As a trained psychiatrist and healer, Blizzard is a listener. He will sit for hours on end, listening to a dragon pouring their heart out, and then afterwards will comfort and advise them in all the ways he can think of. If he's struggling to find a solution, he usually doesn't show it; he instead reassures them, and then seeks out advice on helping. However, despite Blizzard's general trusting attitude he takes the confidentiality of his patients very seriously, and it can be incredibly difficult to get anything out of him about one of his confidents.

There are few who took the Lightning theme words of "Get back to work!" so literally as Blizzard. He sees his job as being something to attend to day and night and throughout his entire life. Being a psychiatrist isn't too hard for the naturally kind and thoughtful Blizzard, and so on a daily basis he confers with and looks after his friends; it is his own way of healing himself, knowing that the others in his Clan are safe. As a young hatchling he was taught kindness is vital, and to give everlasting amounts, and he has carried this into adulthood and beyond.
